Zojirushi is known for making high quality thermoses. This one is a great purchase, with some very mild reservations:Pros:* Keeps liquids hot for surprisingly long periods of time.* Easy to hold: not too wide or heavy. Surprisingly light, in fact.* 16 oz holds just the right amount of coffee for someone who likes ~2 cups in the morning. (I switched from an 18 oz glass thermos and the reduction was not noticeable.)* Has not spilled or leaked. Locking mechanism works well, is intuitive, and has never failed. Quality of metal and plastic seems high.* White color is beautiful. Not too glittery or pearlescent.* Non-stick interior makes rapid cleaning with just soap and water very easy.Cons:* Pour spout burbles a little bit, making some of your liquid airborne if you're decanting. (It doesn't seem to have the same problem if you're drinking directly from the thermos.) I will often remove the top completely rather than using the spout to pour.* If you get one in a light color, the interior of the thermos lid shows splatter marks readily. A quick rinse under hot tap water will solve this problem, though.Coming from an all-glass double-walled thermos, I love that the Zojirushi is light, easier/safer to transport, won't spill, and also has far superior heat retention.Pro tip: Pre-warming: Pour hot water into the thermos to heat it and discard that water before adding your hot beverage. Priming the thermos like this helps keep your beverage hot even longer. (To save water, wash/rinse with hot water right before filling.)Would I buy again? Yes, in a heart beat.

I purchased this one because Zojirushi sells an optional one-piece lid. Sometimes I want to flip n sip, sometimes I want a traditional lid. It works for my uses. I liked it so much, I have a second one on the way.I have other Zojirushi bottles and really like them all. I have used other major brands (we all know what they are) and these are lighter, thinner, and easier for travel and home/office use. I love taking these on trips because they are so lightweight and easy to pack.I was misled, at first, by the disinformation and misinformation about these magic bottles. They don't leak unless you put the gaskets in upside down after washing. They don't have dark crud and particles that come out when you wash them (that is your coffee grunge, not a bottle coating). Hand wash them (the non-stick and slicksteel coating makes this easy) after use.It's not hard to take care of these. They hold beverage temp very well. They are lightweight and more compact than most major brands. The flip n sip tops and the locks are just perfect for my use.

The styling is impeccable -- you would expect nothing less from Zohirushi. I bought two of these, one in red, one in blue, both with the classic ichimatsu etching on the bottle. Design wise, they are my favorite objects bought in 2023. Function wise, there's nothing to compare. They keep water cold for days (ice inside goes unmelted for more than 24 hours). They keep coffee piping hot for hours. I pour my Starbucks grande mocha in one right after the barista hands it to me, and when I finally drink it, often hours later, it is as hot as when I rolled out of Starbucks. Pricy? As with everything in life, you get what you pay for.

I bought this very cute thermos for myself. It does a good job keeping my hot tea at a suitable temperature for many hours. I once left it overnight and it was still lukewarm the next day. It holds 2 cups of liquid to the very top edge. You do have to ensure you screw the top on securely or it will leak. If on securely, it doesn't leak. I really like the inner lip that you drink from. It is curved in such a way that the liquid doesn't accidentally spill out when you tip it to sip it. Most coffee mugs I have used before have a hole to drink out of and they notoriously spill and get on my clothes when I drink. Also, this has a locking lid. So, when I carry it, it doesn't accidentally open/spill like my regular coffee thermos. I got the matching soup thermos and it holds a large bowl's worth of oatmeal that I take with me in the morning when I don't have time to eat. I just wish though that they had a matching bag to carry them in. Also, I wish they had a matching lunchbox. It would be very cute.

I rarely write reviews, and this one is a must. First, I’m a coffee freak. I grind my beans, weigh my grounds and measure my water. Second, a good travel mug is a must for me. I have about 15 (I know, even my husband rolls his eyes). The most reliable I have found for the price were Contigo brand mugs. UNTIL NOW! Who knew this luscious little travel mug would be my new focus of intense love?! I was skeptical - it’s lighweight, feels thin, and has a plastic lid. But no! This baby keeps my coffee HOT - not warm - HOT - from about 6 a.m. until at least 1 p.m. Maybe longer, but my coffee is usually gone by then! I thought for sure this mug would be like all the others - lukewarm by 10 a.m. I am so overjoyed my coffee stays HOT! Like burn my mouth hot if I guzzle it (which I’ve been known to do). Don’t hesitate to buy this mug. Heck, I’m ordering another one! It’s super easy to clean and looks gorgeous to boot. I handwash this bad boy only. My others go in the dishwasher, but I’m going to spoil this little beauty with handwashing. I ordered white and it has stayed beautiful and scratch-free. I’m no bull in a china shop, but travel mugs do show wear over time. This one has not and is just so chic! Get this travel mug! You won’t be disappointed. PROMISE!

Armazena muito bem os líquidos gelados. Água gelada de manhã, ao final da tarde ainda chega a "suar" o copo, sem precisar de gelo. Vedação é boa também, evitando derramar numa bolsa, por exemplo. Também é fácil de montar e desmontar para lavagem. Só não foi usada com outros produtos até o momento. Apenas água

Ik heb de oude model van deze ook. Die heeft een grotere dop is minder ergonomisch maar is veel beter gebouwd. Die heeft een grotere drinklip wat fijner is met drinken en hele mechanisme is veel steviger gebouwd. Die gaat al jaren goed mee. Bij deze lees ik meer problemen op termijn. Ik heb m verkocht na enkele keren gebruiken.
