STANLEY STHT10828 QuickSlide Knife

These are my favorite utility knives, point-blank, period. They are thin enough to not be a nuisance, yet more tough than other knives costing three times as much. I love the clip feature, because as a tradesman, my pockets are always full of other small tools, and the knife can attach to my belt loop where it's out of the way, yet still handy. The bottle cap opener is also very handy, though I've never opened a bottle with it, it doubles as a pry tool. Ive used it in many situations you would use a small flat screw driver, and rarely bent it. If it does bend, you can straighten it back with pliers. I recommend this knife to any tradesman out there.

I bought this for my boyfriend ‘cause he said he had one in the past and it was such a great knife and much more convenient to use since it’s retractable. He couldn’t find it in any other hardware store so it was great that we were able to find it here. Definitely recommend it.

M-37. Onto my second one so far. You definitely need to hang it in your pocket as it sometimes poke thru your pocket if the pants are well worn. The removable blade is nice for a security heck point because you can chuck the blade and be legal. Use it as a flat screw driver all the time and it still never bends. The first one lost the spring latch on the hook but I taped up the hole and still use it as a backup. The blade can be endo flipped if the one point wears out. It is rare but sometimes the slid holder “works apart” under a heavy cut but it snaps right back into place with ease. I’ll buy a 3rd one soon enough. Easiest pocket knife ever to sharpen.

I've had one of these for 3 years. This knife has been on my waist almost every day of that time and has begun to wear out. I can't find a replacement in the stores around me so I got more here. All of them are good so I'm good for 15 more years.

This is a much better product after you learn the "secret" to changing the blade (The retainer at the top, center of the blade is the quick-release tab to change blades. Check Google and/or YouTube.) The convenience of the integral carabiner is what caught my eye and being lightweight and slim is a good design that adds to the appeal. The downside is that the blade change isn't intuitive to many people and the bottle opener is a gimmick that is (usually?) used once a day while it catches on your pocket almost every time you pull it out. If you need a bottle opener more often than a blade, this is a good choice. Just keep it out of your pocket...

I like that it has both a belt loop and a pocket clip, makes it easy to carry and quick to remove off of my tool belt. The blade gets a little stiff to open and close if you use fancy name brand blades that are a little thicker, stick to the cheapo bulk blades and it'll be fine.

Well build. It has a clip for your belt loop and a clip for your pocket. Blades change easily without any tools. Feels ok in your hand. Nice balance of being compact and built sturdily

I cannot leave home without this knife. It's handy, sturdy and reliable. I've ordered many to have spares. My first one broke after a year if daily use. It only broke because I dropped it from 3 stories up onto cement. Best tool I own.
