a fun toy, but overpriced
Well, it's cute and unique and hard to find. ..but some pieces break and it's way overpriced. My girls ages 8 and 9 play w it along w their dollhouse, so their "people" can go to a restaurant. ;) too many small pieces for younger kids.

mind wars for leap frog
A little advanced for a 5 year old but the toy is a lot of fun and it makes it more fun because it is a 2 player game.Asks great questions and keeps children interested with its rewards in the form of removing one catagory for each question correctly answered.

Fun For All Ages
I bought this for my friend who has lots of grandchildren and friends come visit. The age does not matter all the children flock to this and play for hours. This toy is an awesome value and very duarble. My childen 14 months and three have not even been to McDonalds and they think it is such a treat. This toy is a must have for all ages!!

McDonalds Playset - Good value
Hi! We bought this for our (then) four year old son last year for Christmas. He still plays with it. Although it feels a bit like cheap plastic, it's very durable. (nothing has broken in a year!! and with a now five year old boy who still plays with it, that's saying something!) All the pieces fit nicely inside (except for the mat thing, but my son doesn't use that.) Well made. This is great for pretend play. I noticed one reviewer didn't like this product solely for what it represented. Personally, I would PREFER a toy like this, as opposed to action figures that promote violence, and crash em cars. My son and I pretend with these, and use our manners to pretend order - which a lot of people don't have these days! I'm rambling, back to the review. Comes with a lot of pieces that are extras - sign, trash bin, etc. My son basically plays with the people and the restaurant. The only drawback is something I notice with every brand of every playset on the market - when closed up for storage, pieces can fall out the openings. On the plus side, they usually don't. For the price, it's a good value. I would recommend it!

Great buy! Can't go wrong!
My son loves this toy. Ever since I got it for him, he hasn't left it alone. It's just like a real McDonald's! For authenticity, they included a grease-soiled shirt, GED, and a 92' Civic with a fart can muffler to commute with. He's learning so early that being an underachiever can pay off. Why just the other day, I ordered a McChicken from him and had to send it back because I hate pickles. He instinctly knew to spit in it and turn my fries upside down in the bag before handing it to me. I can't blame him for the pickles though, sometimes those drive-thru speakers sound like a half-assed dubstep mix CD. Overall, it's great! I think next year, I'm getting him the 7/11 Playset so he can learn to deal with shoplifters!

Links non-nutritious food to play
From Teachers Resisting Unhealthy Children's Entertainment: This toy "glamorizes McDonald's, constantly reminds children of the McDonald's brand, and makes unhealthy food a part of children's play."In addition, "play connected to high-sugar/high-fat foods can lead to poor nutrition, childhood obesity, and can create brand loyalty from an early age."

Piece of junk!
We got this last year for our children at Big Lots. They played with it maybe for about 20mins at the most. Things broke and got lost. I would strongly suggest not getting it.
