PlatzMoebius Chrysler 300B 1956 Model Kit

OMG this is the second time I have ordered a model made by Moebius and I have to say that this one is even better engineered than the last one.Ok anyone who does model cars will understand this, normally when putting together a model for me anyway you have to take the left manifold of first and leave the right so you don't put them in wrong spot. This model who ever engineered it they mad on all parts that have a left and a right slightly different so you can cut them both the left and the right because the way there setup is the left will only fit in the left and the right will only fit on the right side its amazing with this model there is no way to get them mixed up. for example on the left manifold you have to square nodules and the right manifold has to round nodules wonderful engineering I will try and buy Moebius models as much as possible. I have never seen a model go together so easily and perfect. (THANK YOU) TO THE ENGINEER Two thumbs up. I really whish there was a way to know who engineered what to only because I would buy my models only from the engineer that setup this model Friggin Fantastic

Let me start by saying that I have been building model cars for over 50 years. Moebius produces a kit which is accurate and fun to build with a high level of detail. And the price isn't to bad either. I just wish the kits were produced in the US rather than China.

Another Great Kit from Mobious!!!

Great Model kit, excellent priced, packed well, and FREE shipping, you can't beat it.

After having built 2 of their very small line of car kits, and having an absolutelywonderful time, I never would have thought that they would stoop to cheapening theirsecond generation kit, but that is what seems to have happened! Here are the biggest ofthe problems, following the order of the instructions...1. The whitewall tires are hollow and the wheels do not hold worth a darn.2. The steering wheel, as positioned by the dashboard and the tab on the steering column,places the wheel touching the front seat.3. The front suspension parts including the control arms and the pins on the spindles areso weak and are inclined to fall apart, so that you may find it necessary to glue them,but then they can no longer swivel, and the concept of movable wheels is lost.4. There is only 1 gluing tab on the front window, and the butt joint at the top separatedso that there was a gap between the 2 parts that is impossible to hide or correct.5. The windshield wiper bag is a poorly designed casting that is flat and actually lookssmaller than its decal. I substituted a part from my extras stash. The antenna is anotherthrowaway part that you will want to replace.6. The door handles were originally supposed to use locating pins and matching holes.Somewhere after the instructions were finished, they decided to change this to a tab andslot, and even though you sand all four mating surfaces, the handles still do not fitwell. Exercise care in sanding the mating surfaces, or you could leave some raw plasticshowing.7. There is no external rear-view mirror!
