DiMarzioDP389BK Tone Zone T Black

On an older Tele i owned i used a seymour duncan little 59 and love it, but ended up selling the guitar. on my new tele i wanted something close to that, maybe even a bit hotter and crunchier. the tone zone definitely delivered! the clean sound i get is much thicker than the normal tele twang, and with distortion on (FullTone GT-500 through a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe) the sound is awesome! less hot that my les paul bridge pickup, but still loud enough to satisfy a humbucker player's appetite. i also have a coil splitter so if i want that real twang i can just pop up my tone knob and the tone zone gives me a nice classic tele sound. great pickup!!

Liquid like sustain and fast transient response make this the pickup for high speed high gain solos, phrases and general shredding on a tele. The pickup truly is the answer for the Best possible tone for prog rock, metal, and notes that flow like lava at insane speeds.. not kidding about that at all. If you like the tone zone full sized humbucker, you will absolutely love this..

Great sound, real good on mids and lows. great response, suits my way of playing.Just what I was looking for.

Used it on my first Esquire build and I can't believe the different tones I can get using the 3 way switch, volume and tone control.From twang to crunch no problem. Great pickup!!!

Ripper of a pickup... Really adds some guts to the Tele but the split pickup option is a nice plus...
