Samba by Perfumer's Workshop for Women - 3.3 Ounce EDT Spray

When I saw this blast from my 1990’s past I immediately ordered it. It came and I bathed my body and soul in its fragrant spray. Samba became my madeleine and I was whisked back to my spiral perm with my big bangs and mile-high hair in the front, my Jane Fonda work-out tape, and all my youthful hopes and dreams. Sure, I could put on my Gucci Bloom, but why would I when I have Samba? You need it to, dear reader. Order 2 now because I’m about out and I’m giving careful consideration to going Covid hoarder on this.

Ordered on Dec 9th and received it on the 11th very surprised BC estimated date to be received was from dec15 to the 18th... Perfume smells good after a while but smells strong when applied right away so I recommend just to spray a Lil bit . I wet my hand with water and tapped the area where perfume was applied to make it smell softer and it smells better. I can smell myself. But not familiar with the scent I remember when it 1st came out the smell to be like grapes...Anyways I'm glad with this product :)

Very happy with Samba. Soft powdery, long lasting. I'm glad I've found this fragrance it stays in Mr most sents fade away. I am very happy with this sent. Like explanation only better

Granted, one shouldn't buy perfume online without having tried it/smelled it on self or another person. I took a chance with this very reasonably-priced perfume, due to great customer reviews and the fact that I have several of the Perfumer's Workshop Tea Rose fragrances (Rose, Jasmin, Amber) that I really enjoy. But everyone's body chemistry is different, hence, perfume can smell great on one person and not-so- great on another. This smells like a disinfectant cleaner on me - a combination of ammonia and citrus. Not flattering. But I couldn't return it - for some reason, Amazon is okay about shipping it to YOU, but you can't ship it back to THEM, because, all of a sudden, it's hazardous to send it through the mail. Go figure.

I was happy to find this perfume. I recalled it fondly from my high school days back in the 90s. It had the same scent I remembered. It's a nice, light fragrance that I wear to work or for going out. Nostalgia in a bottle for me.

The Scent is just as I remembered back in the late 80''s but the Packaging was soaked from the bottle leaking from the top a third of perfume is gone 😥
