Calvin KleinWomen's Long Packable Anorak Jacket

Looking for an in-between season coat/raincoat, I'm 5'3" 112 lb, and as is usual with a Calvin Klein, the XS fits well. (Also as expected the arms are about an inch longer than usual, but that's typical CK, and perhaps just as well if one wants maximum protection from the weather.) Received the coat this morning and took it along on my overnight, mid-November air trip from Louisiana to Wisconsin in the afternoon. The style will be a perfect bridge from casual wear on the plane to sort-of dressy business tomorrow.The coat is long enough to hide a short dress, but show off tall boots; it's not so long, that my shorter stature is overwhelmed by too much cloth. Its trim, slightly shaped design leave it roomy enough for a lot of layering, if necessary, and allow for comfort while seated. Tonight, arriving late at the hotel, the temperature is in the 40s with a gusty, stiff wind and misty rain, and I'm struck at how well this basic coat with a thin nylon lining is keeping out the cold air and water, Meanwhile, wearing it in 70-plus degree weather earlier, the coat was more comfortable than one had a right to expect. Having read all the reviews before I bought, I was surprised to find the coat is substantial, far from being a flimsy "light-weight" that some had intimated. And, unlike some reviews for other mid-season coats, it appears this one will not readily set itself into wrinkles when sat in or packed. The coat's tailored styling is dressed up by its slightly sheened, woven fabric and small silver findings. The front zipper is hidden by a wide front placket, allowing the coat a dressier look. Deep front pockets are on-seam and while without zippers, are placketed to provide another tailored detail, to keep belongs in place, and keep out the weather. In fact, lack of zippers, tailored seaming, quality fabric, and small shiny findings, boost this coat to a level I hadn't expected. Thanks, Amazon!

I brought this jacket on an overseas trip and it was perfect. It packs small but still looks really nice. I wore a packable down jacket under it on cold days. I am back home and it is still my favorite!

I really like this jacket! It's lightweight and stylish. It's perfect for rainy weather, and pairs easily over top of sweaters. It's oversized, and I could have gone with a smaller size (I bought a M but could have fit into a S/ExS). The price is a bit steep-probably because you're paying for the Calvin Klein brand name, and you could find something similar at Target. None-the-less, it's a great coat. It comes with a little travel pouch to easily store it. There's a zipper closure to hide the hood in the collar if you so choose. If you're looking for a thick winter coat, this isn't it. You'll freeze. However, if you're looking for something simple and classic for fall and spring, it's perfect. Overall, I'm happy with it.

This is a great fitting , true to size coat. That fits in a pouch for travel . I haven’t worn it in the rain but I believe it’s water resistant and the hood zips into the collar!

Fits perfectly and makes outfits stylish in the rain

I bought this item earlier than I needed it...preparing for the colder weather. Just started wearing it a couple of weeks ago and already one of the snaps is broken. I love the coat but now I can't return it because it's past the allotted time. I really like it.

This jacket has an A-Line fit, where it is narrower at the shoulder at flares out at the bottom. It also tucks in at the waist. The fabric does seems water - resistant. The zipper is good quality. The jacket is long, coming down to mid thigh on me. I ordered black, and the shiny silver buttons really stood out. The problem was that, somehow, it created a hunchback shape on me at the shoulder. So I needed to return it. For reference, I am 5’6”, 145 lbs, with broad 17 inch shoulders and 36DDD. I tried the Large, which did not fit over my broad shoulders. Then I tried the XL, but that size created a hunchback shape.

I had a coat exactly like this for two years. It was the perfect coat. It can be worn with dressy or casual outfits. It is slimming and very classy looking. I always received many compliments when I wore the coat. It is an absolutely perfect coat for traveling. I accidentally got some heavy duty glue on my coat...and it was ruined so I threw it away. After that I tried many different coats, but no other coat even compared. After a few months of shopping for a new coat, I decided to try to find the exact coat to replace it. I was elated to find an identical replacement coat on Amazon. It arrived today. I tried it on, and it truly is the perfect coat. All is well in my world today.

It’s unlined and I received mine without the travel pouch. Wouldn’t mistake this for a Calvin Klein product, not top quality.

This raincoat is just what I wanted. It looks dressier than many raincoats so can do double duty as a raincoat and a summer overcoat, even when it’s not raining. I can put a warm sweater under it so it is a warm spring and fall coat, too. I bought it for a trip to Scotland this fall where it apparently rains a lot. I’m sure the coat will be just what i’ll need.
