Curel Extra Dry Skin Therapy Lotion, Body and Hand Moisturizer, Hydra Silk Hydration, with Advanced Ceramide Complex, and Aloe Water, 12 oz

This is my regular lotion now. My hands (and my son's, too) dry out REALLY bad, like they snag on microfiber cloths. As in, BEFORE using this regularly, my dry skin on the back of my hands could pickup those microfiber cloths just by touching them with the back of my hands (or my cracked-skin on my elbows)! My knuckles-skin would crack & bleed, my nails would peel off in thin layers, and the skin around my nails would become dead and dried out and could scratch someone worse than a torn & jagged fingernail! So far, this is the only lotion I can afford to buy as often as we need to use it that actually works & DOESN'T make my hands greasy- feeling. I CAN use my phone screen after rubbing it in all the way! I buy this in lotion form and then I also buy shower-lotion. I put half a bottle of my shower-lotion next to my sink in a pump bottle and use that after I use handsoap every time I wash my hands. The other half goes in my shower, as intended. My son, whose hands dry out like mine do, is the only other household member that also washes his hands as frequently as I do. This is a MUST HAVE in my home! If you're a frequent hand-washer like me, and it's drying out your skin to the point of pain, you NEED to try this! It feels great on my feet and legs after bathing, too! It's more pricey than I'd prefer to pay, but other brands that work this well costs so much $$ that I can't afford to keep it available at home every day. This, we just HAVE TO budget for! I bet if you itemize your tax-deductions, you could include this in your medical-expenses deductions. I know I would. But I already exceed the maximum allowed with my major medical expenses. I've found the price with Amazon to be similar to (sometimes less than) the prices at other stores, so it isn't more expensive here than anywhere else that I'm aware of. It's just not a cheap brand. Still, it's worth it for me and my son. I highly recommend, and I already do buy this regularly. My skin can't afford to run out of this! I might even try to see if I can purchase a bulk case at a more discounted price. I've tried and compared this to other, cheaper, similar priced, & also much more expensive brands, such as: La Roche-Posay, Gloves in a Bottle, CeraVe, Gold Bond (a close alternative), Jergen's, Aveeno (a 2nd best), First Aid's Ultra Repair Cream, Hempz (the original dried my hands out WORSE, but the better scented tattoo lotion worked okay & my husband LOVES the smell of the "Malibu Tan" tattoo lotion), Philosophy (hard to compare because sample was too small), Estée Lauder, Ponds face creams, L'Occitane. Those are the ones I remember easily. I find this to be the best value, non- greasy feeling, heals my skin best, compared to the others I've listed above.

This is the best lotion I ever use! I have the driest skin on the planet in this solution please my skin hydrated and silky smooth all day! I just wish the bottle was bigger!

This is an excellent moisturizer for very dry skin like mine in all four seasons. I hope Amazon will bring this back as it's harder to find these days. Curel, please bring this back for your customer. Don't give up on a great product that works.

I have a bottle of this in my office and works great. Nice scent, silky non-sticky feel and very hydrating. Highly recommend.

I subscribe to Good Housekeeping and this lotion was given it's highest rating for moisturizing so I thought I would try it. I absolutely love it! I have very dry skin and most lotions I have tried just didn't hold up throughout the day let alone into the evening. This one does! I can still feel the hydration working the next morning. It applies thick but absorbs into my skin quickly and is unscented so no lingering odor. I highly recommend this lotion to anyone who has dry skin and needs immediate and long-lasting relief.

When I was younger my mum use to buy the old curel in the big blue bottle. I have really sensitive skin and eczema. Recently my skin ad been a mess, stinging, itching, burning, you name it, rashes the works. I was using Aveeno oatmeal at the time, it was nice but wasn't really helping. I was on my way to work and I saw the big blue bottle in the back of my mind. I couldn't remember the name but I saw the photo. I hit google and the minute I saw Curel I knew that was it, to Amazon I came. I discovered the look had changed (alot) but I bought it anyway. My skin is so grateful. This is the best my skin has seen in quite some time. Thank you!

This Curel lotion is hard to find. It is excellent for my sensitive skin type. No scent is good too. It is t greasy and it lasts all day. Every one has different skin type. This is the best for me.
