Review: Our Favorite Book - “I Love You Just Like This” is currently our two-year-old’s favorite book, and she requests it nearly each night before bed. It’s such a sweet book that shares how much Elmo’s mommy loves him. It perfectly captures how we love our kids so much that it can be hard to fully put into words, so we try to describe it or quantify it in ways that might make sense to them (and us). My daughter is very cuddly and loves to be close to us. I think this book is helpful for her, especially on daycare days or hard days because it reassures her that we love her so much when we are near or far apart. I think it’s also fun for her because I count items with her, stop to “tickle” Cookie Monster’s toes, or do the Count’s laugh on his page. I have now bought this book a few times to give as gifts for friends. I would recommend this book if you’re looking for a new read!
