I bought these specifically to wear with leggings. I ordered a medium, even though according to their size chart I was a small. Glad I ordered up! Yes, these are shapewear but I don’t want to be squished to death. I have a long torso and they come up to my belly button. They come up quite high so you can’t wear them with low rise pants. They rolled down before I put my leggings on but have stayed put since. (UPDATE: After washing them according to the label, they are now rolling down. I am wearing them with the exact same leggings as I did before so I know its not that.) When I sit they do tend to make a muffin top so beware if you are going to wear a fitted top. There’s no muffin top when I stand. And there are no panty lines!! Overall, this was a great purchase and I’m looking forward to buying more. (UPDATE: If you plan on buying more than 2 pairs, buy from Spanx bc they have a buy-two-get-the-third-free deal.)

Following abdominal surgery, my doc recommended a compression girdle. I've tried many approaches ranging from velcro wraps to fajas to girdles like this one from several brands. Of them, this is my favorite because it is the most comfortable to wear for extended periods without wanting to rage-strip, which still providing firm abdominal support/compression. It's not perfect, though. Like every other item of this nature, the top rolls down (though this less than most). It also has most of the compression at the mid-abdominal level (waist) whereas I need the support on my lower abdomen, so I have to shift it down a bit, which makes it sag in the crotch. Even so, this is the one I'd recommend post-Caesarean or tummy tuck or similar sugery.

These do provide good smoothing and are comfortable, but they roll down especially when sitting. And that roll makes the waist uncomfortable. I'm glad I only bought one pair.

This brief rolls down at the waist despite the correct size. It doesn't stay smooth and feels uncomfortable when sitting. Awful!

I purchased six different products to help with "tummy smoothing" under a costume for a stage production. This was the most comfortable, best fitting, and the product that achieved the support I wanted. It washes well, has maintained its elasticity throughout two weeks of daily use, and seems as though it will last for future use. Above all, it was COMFORTABLE... It smoothed out my lingering postpartum tummy without squeezing; it was easy to dance and move around the stage.

These work well and sucking it all I. And making your clothes look better.

These are my tried and true, as a smaller person but struggling with pouch (especially post C-section) the small sizes are true to size and they do have noticeable compression in the belly area. I do find myself hiking them up often because unfortunately they do roll down and I think SPANX could put in the tiniest bit of extra effort to upgrade these to seamless across the bum. If your clothing is form fitting, these show noticeable panty lines. Overall, it's hard to find shapewear in smaller sizes that actually smooths and shapes. So, until I find a better option these will do.
