I-MARTElastic Cord, Elastic Band, Elastic Rope, Bungee, Heavy Stretch Knit Elastic Spool (White 70-Yard Length 0.25 inch Width)

This is second brand of elastic I have ordered in the past few weeks for sewing masks. I was very pleased with first brand. This one less so, but it will still work for masks. I am not sure it would be good for stretching and applying directly to fabric like creating ruffles on doll clothes, but for looping around ears it seems fine. Any ends not secured will fray badly in the wash, so secure those ends very well. As another reviewer noted, it is a pale gray instead of white, but once on masks it isn't noticable. I wouldn't use it on doll clothes though. Finally a reviewer complained that it melted when ironed. I have never tried to iron elastic and I am not sure why you would, but I imagine all elastic would melt as it is usually made of rubber and polyester. I will not be testing that theory as I use my iron too much for quilting to risk coating it in melted rubber. To sum up, it seems fine for masks, but I would pass for actually sewing it onto fabric.

Overall this product is great! Great stability and stretch! It did arrive dirty but it isnt too much of an issue once you wash your finished product, and most of the time you cant even tell once the elastic is stitched in place. If youre looking for something that is pure white though, this is not it! It is pretty dingy and off white. I use this elastic for sewing projects and you cant even see it once its in place. Like I said not a huge issue for me, but might bother others.

The elastic is perfect. I'm going to get a lot of use out of it. The holder it's wrapped around though cane warped and bent and look like it might have been wet at one point. But I bought it for the elastic not the spool it came on.

Strong elastic. Good value. But not white, closer to a very light gray. But, depending on how you use it, that may not be a problem.

It arrived as scheduled and promised! I was a little disappointed that it’s durability was not as good.

I am so thankful that the elastic arrived alot sooner than expected, I had used up the last elastic that I had and still have plenty of work to do, being as resourceful as I could be being everybody is out of elastic.Thank you Amazon !!!!!

Used on face masks and also doll clothes!

We are in the process of sewing surgical caps for a local children's hospital and need a lot of elastic. This was a great deal and is the same quality as the name brand elastic we used to buy at the craft stores. So far I have not found any flaws in the product. Will purchase again
