So far I've noticed no real functional difference over my genuine Manfrotto release plates in my Manfrotto bases. I have had other cheaper plates that did require some sanding/grinding to get a proper fit, but these fit without issues.

These are very nice, as long as you don't have any weight restrictions. I was looking for a quick release to use with my gimbal and bought these along with a couple of different bases. However, because they are metal and all of the bases I have found are metal, it becomes to heavy for my gimbal. All of the mount plates I have used in the past were lightweight plastic which is what I was hoping for. However, everything that I have found for mounting plates and bases are metal, which then cause my camera to exceed the weight limit of my gimbal. If you are planning to use them on a tripod or something without weight limits, they will be great and appear very well built.

Can’t have just one - extras come in handy and the price is right. Good quality.

The 200PL by the OEM retails for over $15 a piece. It's about time Manfrotto realizes that they're charging too much bits like these.

I can’t tell them apart from OEM. The price is better than manfrotto.

These work every bit as well as OEM Manfrotto plates, and seem as sturdy as any other component of a camera and tripod system.

I wouldn't trust these with my main camera due to weight but they fit the quick release perfectly and work fine for lighter attachments. Picked them up originally to mount my phone to the tripod for taking aurora photos.

I have 2 Manfrotto tripods - a 190XPROB with a 802RC head and a BeFree with a 494 ball head. I was missing a camera plate and thought I would try these - the price was right. These camera plates feel like they are very solid - they are metal. The screws hold the cameras securely (Canon DSLRs) and there is no wiggle or movement when they are mounted on the tripods. I am not a professional photographer so these will not get used extensively. For my needs they are perfect. No need for me to spend 8 to 10 times as much for a real Manfrotto plate. Plus the delivery was next day. Awesome!
