Not actually new
I recently bought several of these drives and all of them are reporting 3+ years of power on time according to the SMART stats. Aside from that the drives seem to work great and are not reporting any other errors, but this doesn't indicate much as I haven't had them running for very long yet.

Misleading product description
Bought four of these. They have 27000+ hours of use and register as 11.7TB instead of 12 (see images) and have been used extensively 325 Terabytes read 42 terabytes written. I have 48 of this model drive in my cluster and bought these for replacement hot spares and to replace a failed drive. This vendor is running a scam and selling refurbished drives as new. (see smartctl)
