Swingline Cartridge Electric Stapler, 30 Sheet Capacity, Jam Free, includes 5000 Staple Cartridge, Black (69008)

At first I really liked this product. It stopped working today and I've tried everything to make it work with no luck.This was purchased to replace my previous Swingline 690 that worked perfectly for 10 years, but unfortunately, this one only lasted 4 months.**Update**Contacted Swingline and it was under warranty so they replaced it and all is well again!!!

Milton got it wrong. THIS SWINGLINE STAPLER IS HORRIBLE! I've purchased it twice, both times it lasted less than a few months. Also, NO REFUNDS; NO WARRANTY. Go buy the Bostich stapler that does 45 pages instead of 30, costs 1/3rd as much, and won't break after three weeks. Get your act together, swingline. Milton does not approve.

This stapler has a small footprint and doesn't take up too much space. It really does the job.

This particular stapler does not work, period. I went by the directions some ~20 times and I still can't get it to work. I've never had a problem with Swingline in the past so I'm sure it just happens to be this particular unit but I suppose I wasn't paying close enough attention to the return policy.As of right now, I'm out $155 and I don't know what to do. The item isn't available for a return so I'm not particularly happy that I just have to suck it up.

I love this electric stapler! As you can see in the photo, I had an earlier version of the Zephyr, which I bought 27 years ago to use at work. The cartridge design has remained the same, so I didn't need to buy a new stapler just because the cartridge was no longer available. With 5000 staples in a cartridge, it lasts a LONG time compared to other types of staplers. Troubleshooting information and the Customer Service number are located on the stapler itself--very handy. I called when I first tried using my new stapler, because I couldn't install the cartridge. The agent explained that you have to push VERY HARD when you slide the cartridge into the stapler until it snaps. I would not have pushed that hard if the agent weren't on the phone directing me. I like the improvements that Swingline has made over the years, including adjustable trigger bar, thumbwheel, smaller size.

I use this electric stapler for 2 and 1/2 years now in a busy pharmacy. I staple average about 250 times a day. This stapler is quiet and it does not hurt my ears as the other one the pharmacy has. In the beginning, I had trouble changing the cartridge. Now I can do it in about 1 min. I just follow the instruction and practise. About a year ago, this stapler was kind of stuck. My partner in the pharmacy said it might quit working soon. I sprayed it with WD-40 and let it dry overnight. It works like new again! I recommend this stapler to my friends in other pharmacies because using loud stapler 250 times a day could cause hearing lost in the long run.

Don't waste your money!Purchased this for an office setting, so it got a fair amount of use,nothing extreme, but this stapler had to be replaced under warranty 2 times - each unit lasted less than a year before refusing to feed staples through anymore. At this price point I expect better, and Swingline's customer service was not helpful. The warranty is as of the date of the original purchase, and does not get reset when the stapler is replaced so this latest unit to die, which lasted only 5 months, is now out of warranty and Swingline refuses to stand by their product. Bottom line - this is junk, do not buy.

I purchased this stapler for my husband to use in his small business and it has worked perfectly. It doesn't jam up and zings along wonderfully. I get to use it when I help him out and I absolutely love it. It is the perfect size for a small business with small space.

I am disappointed in this product. I bought this back in September 2019, but didn't have a chance to open it up and use until now. It is my belief that this product was returned by someone else and sent to me. The staples that were provided look like they had already been used. I can see why someone would return it because it does not work. I have tried several times, used up some staples and it just will not work. I have watched videos, read how to load the staples and nothing works. I guess every once in a while you get a bad product. I blame myself for not reading the reviews on this product and doing a bit more research. I would never have purchased it.

Product didn't work properly after only 6 weeks. Had to order another and this one was past the time limit for returns.

It did not work at all, broken and a total waste of money

Well right out of the box this stapler did not function properly. Did not dispense the staples and when it did it would jam up. I tried to load it a few times thinking I loaded it wrong but would still either jam or not staple. Gave it 2 stars because the shipping time was excellent and good customer service.
