Adorable
We love this swim vest on our youngest, it’s worked the last two years, and I just had to grab the next size up given the quality and durability. No flopping like in the weird inflatable floaters, but make sure you watch your little and don’t just let them float in the vest unattended.

Impressed
I was super impressed with this vest. I was glad I read other reviews because at the last minute I bought my daughter a long sleeve rash guard to prevent under arm skin irritation. I gave this four stars because it did irritate my daughters neck. This best is adorable, Lightweight, keeps my kid afloat, and dries overnight.

Perfect for "not a toddler and not an infant" size
Easy enough to get on and stay on but was just a precaution while playing near the beach and while playing in a 1. 5ft baby pool. Can easily flip around in deeper water. Definitely not able to take your eyes off- no matter the age, safety gear, or ability to swim.. but helps make this Karen less of a nervous wreck 😘

Overall great product
Have bought this product before in a smaller size and LOVED it! The next size up we have had problems with the foam in the vest rolling up. Overall still love the product.

Fits great
As other reviews have noted this isn't a true life vest but it will keep the wearer from sinking under the water. I've taken our little one out in deeper water and they will float just fine but if they start thrashing around they will tip over. We are always with our little one if they are in the pool but this allows them the ability play in the shallow end without us having to worry if they accidentally fall off the steps into the deeper area and gives us time to comeover and grab them. I especially like that low-profil fit and mobility it gives them, it's not bulky and they have full use of their arms.

This is a great tool for learning to swim for a toddler who has confidence in the water

Better than expected
This fits my son perfectly! Floats with ease I can let him enjoy the 9ft deep end of the pool with confidence.

Great fit for 4 yo
Got this vest for my grandson so he didn’t have to wear floats on his arms. Works great and he seemed comfortable wearing it.

Finger weg LEBENSGEFAHR !!!

Risky
This seemed like a good idea. Put it on DD to swim in the pool. She was 15mths old at the time. In a split second while playing the child turned over onto her face in the water. Although the jacket worked and kept her afloat, her face was in the water briefly as I pulled her out. I don’t trust the balance of this jacket, it’s bulky and small children can’t turn themselves over in the water with this jacket on. I think it’s too risky to use.

It may be appropriate for an older child (3-4 years old) learning to swim but I got one for my nearly 2 years old and it is useless as unless I hold her she just goes face ...
Doesn't float at all. It may be appropriate for an older child (3-4 years old) learning to swim but I got one for my nearly 2 years old and it is useless as unless I hold her she just goes face down in the water.

Son could have drowned because of this!
At 20 months my son had started getting nervous in the water even though we go swimming twice a week. So I thought if we got something for our fun session (as opposed to his swim class) that would help him float it would boost his confidence. He is 12kg and the best fit according to the size chart was the 1-2 year size.It arrived as expected, looks cute, fit is okay but as soon as he got in the water the shoulders were literally sitting around his ears.We went into the toddler pool (knee deep on me, chest deep on him), and he fell over, normally he would just stand up and get on with it... But this device made it impossible for him to put his legs back down as he was floating, but also forced his face under water! So he was STUCK FACE DOWN IN THE WATER!!!Luckily I was one step away from him and grabbed him, but to say it shook us both up is an understatement. I took the jacket off him immediately.Very dangerous, we had a lucky escape that he didn't breathe in. Very scary, very dangerous and would not recommend to my worst enemy.

Didn't work
I had hoped this would allow me to hold my 15-month old in the water and let go so he could float in the water and try to swim a few centimeters towards me. I could tell it wasn't going to work and whenever I tried to reduce my grip it started to twist him and tried to put him face-down. Obviously, we would never leave him unattended anyway so I wouldn't say it was dangerous under constant supervision but it didn't add any safety either and if someone was to try and leave a child there would be a risk. It's a shame as it fitted and looked good. I will go for the old fashioned armbands instead.
