Saves time sorting brass
These are awesome and a great time saver from sorting brass by hand. I can sort a 5gal bucket of brass in about 1.5 hrs with these vs. 4 hrs by hand. You will still have to do some sorting but a lot easier. .45 stays in first one. .40 and .38 special/.357 stay in second and .38 special/.357 will fall open end down and rim stays to make it easy to pick them out from the .40. Last one leaves 9mm, .380 auto, and .223. Sorting the .380 auto is a bit of a pain but they make a plate to sort them from the 9mm. I haven't added that yet. Smaller shells, .22 and dirt fall thru into bucket. If you are picking up range brass in any quantity and want to save time this is a great way. These are very sturdy and quality made. Stack nicely for storage.

So easy even a caveman can do it (or your kids if you don't have any cavemen laying around)
I picked these up to sort outdoor range brass that I gathered up during my last session as I had about 2/3 of a 5 gallon bucket full to deal with and hand sorting absolutely sucks when the brass is full of dirt. In the past I would gather a couple thousand cases and it would take me a couple hours to sort and I would still accidentally toss one or two cases into the wrong box. This is where the sorter set excels. You get ZERO cases where they do not belong. At my range I pick up 45, 9, 40, and 38 Super. All three trays work perfect and a couple shakes of each tray have all the brass sorted into the correct sizes to toss into a separate bin for tumbling. It is 10x faster than doing the work by hand. After my son saw me doing the first batch, he stepped in and had the rest of the bucket done in less than a half hour.If you pick up those odd 44, 38 special, or other similar size cases you will need to sort a bit in the tray, but if you pick up the standard sizes, sorting is done quickly. Highly recommend!!

Must have but....
These trays cuts the process time significantly but they charged to much for it I do not think this is ethical company just like drug companies in this country SHAME ON THEM..

Makes sorting large quantities of brass cases much faster and easier than by hand
I run a handgun/rifle range for a couple of camps over the summer and accumulate quite a bit of spent brass each year. After the end of the final camp I always dreaded the process of sorting the brass (and have considered just selling it for scrap many times...). I came across a social media post about the shell sorter set and decided to give it a try. What a difference! Put the yellow tray in the top of a bucket, dump in some brass, shake, rattle and roll and you've culled .45 ACP. Lather, rinse, repeat until you've processed your accumulated brass. Switch to the blue tray, and separate out the .40 S&W, and finally, the black tray to capture the 9mm (and .380 - you need the Shell Sorter .380 plate to separate the .380 from the 9mm).It separates other calibers with each step, but you get the idea.I've seen where people say to stack the three trays together to speed things up, but I don't think that would work with larger quantities of brass like I need to process.Yes, it's a bit expensive for what it is, but if you deal with a lot of brass it is worth it.

Every reloader should have a set
I reload multi type of ammo, this makes sorting so much easier. My friend give me a lot of brass from a firing range, sorting the brass is so much easier and time saving. The only mistake I made was not getting the 380 sorter when I order, I corrected that. Well worth the money.

Works well
Was able to easily separate 6.5 CM and .45 ACP in one bin, .40 and 10mm in the next bin, then 9mm, .223 and other 380 related cases (IE 380 Super) in the last bin. Excellent. Now if our Amazon driver would stop occasionally dropping off our packages at other houses in the neighborhood, that would be great!

Not perfect but still a great idea and time saver
Sorts brass very well. However you are limited to how much brass you can throw in at a time. The 3 pans sit nested inside each other with probably a one or two inch gap between them. This means that you have to stop and empty pans about every couple hundred pieces of brass. Is this a big deal, no I don’t think so. You will have to separate cases that get stuck inside larger cases (ie 40/45 or 40/9mm). Even with this issues brass sorting is so much faster with the sorting pans that’s it a “no brainer”. If you process brass by the 5 gallon bucket or even a 1 gallon ziplock storage bag you will find this to be a major time saver. I leave my pans sitting in the garage and simple throw any range brass that I pick up into the top pan. After a few times doing this just about 30 seconds of shaking have things sorted out.
