Works well
The dust collection kit works well and is easy to attach. It does not collect 100% of the saw dust but the nature of a jigsaw would make a dustless option impossible to design. I am satisfied with this dust collection kit. Not happy to pay $50 for some molded plastic, but it attaches securely and works well. The Bosch saw I have came with a nice carrying case but the jigsaw wouldn’t fit back in the case with the dust collection kit attached but I was able to cut away part of the carrying case to allow the saw to fit with the dust collection kit.

Good price, great fit
Excellent fit on the JS572, and works as expected. Good price, great fit.

Works well with my Jigsaw
I use the Bosch VAC 90 Dust extraction system, decided to add extraction to my jigsaw. Works as intended and reduces dust to almost zero. Good buy for the cost.

Extremely difficult to put on
It looks nice and solid. However, it is extremely hard to put on my brand new JS572 jigsaw. Took me 30 min to figure out how to stick into the saw because I worried that I would break it. After I put it on, it was extremely to remove. I do not think this product matches Bosch's quality.

I can't believe I spent $60 on this, but WAYGTD???
I'm giving this 5 stars as positive reinforcement for dust collection engineering. This ain't QUITE it, but it's a start. Note to Bosch... yes, Festool charges an arm and a leg, but their tools COME WITH the dust collection hook-ups. If Bosch just shipped these standard with the tools, I'm sure they could get the manufacturing costs down enough that they wouldn't have to increase tool price considerably. But, as a $60 add on to a ~$200 tool??? C'mon... you're just punishing the more considerate and discerning among us. For the record... it gets like 60% to 70% of the dust. So, it's good but not like Festool sander good. Having said that, it has made jigsawing like 400 feet of MDF more pleasant. But c'mon homies.

Get that dust.
This works very well. It at least doubles the fancy factor of the jigsaw. Dear Bosch, dust is bad. Please include this magic dust extraction technology with the tool.

Pretty good Jigsaw attachment.
I bought this product to help me with my adventures in woodworking. Right now it’s being used to help with dust collections. The first time I used my jigsaw I noticed how much dust gets kicked up and I also noticed how much dust sits within your line of sight. To me this makes it hard to cut a straight line. Once this attachment was placed on my jigsaw I noticed a big difference with the amount of dust getting into the air. I also noticed I had a clear line of sight to cut straight lines. For me this is very important because I am a beginner in this department and everything helps. I would recommend this attachment for anyone looking to create a safer environment, better dust collection, and a better line of sight to suck away the dust.

Works, but difficult to install, impossible to remove
The dust extractor tube was difficult to install, but worked reasonably well. I also put the clear cover piece on the front, which probably contributes quite a bit to the overall effectiveness in collecting sawdust. I would have rated it four stars instead of three because when I was done and wanted to remove the collector, it broke at the swivel (weakest point) in the painfully awkward and needlessly difficult removal process. Examination after extraction suggests the round "BB" molded into the bottom of the tube that fits into the saw may have been oversized and prevented simple removal. I had the black plastic "shoe" fitted to the bottom of the saw - I leave it on at all times - and this may have obscured the BB as the sticking point, although I did not attempt remove it to see if there is any sort of access or release to the BB holding the tube in place that could make removal less painful. A design flaw that turns an otherwise very useful accessory into a problem. If you can live with the thing permanently in-place (I could not), this may not be an issue for you.
