If your buying this your buying it to keep the smell down and it works especially when you’re by yourself. Other people around seem to forget to use it but I love my smoke buddy. Especially for apartment dwellers and incognito smokers!

I've tried every size of smoke buddy so far and I think the mega is the best one. If you don't need to carry with you I would spend the money on the mega. The main reason I like the large size better is it is easier to blow through, almost effortless, which if you've tried the jr size it can choke you up when blowing certain types of smoke through it lol because its much tighter to blow through, the mega will last much longer too so you are getting what you pay for, mine came in perfect condition as if that matters with this kind of product and the little light keychain is a nice bonus lol

The smoke buddy is a great value. Smokey breath goes in & clean air come out. Excellent product!! My only thought to improve the product & help the planet would b a replaceable filter.

Alright, so let me start out by saying that I really love Smoke Buddy Air Purifiers, and that I've been a loyal (not to mention consistent) customer since about 2011. Please see the attached pictures of my "credentials"... just some of the many useless (albeit momentarily entertaining) flashlights that I honestly wish I had the option not to waste the plastic on. With that being said, this is a review for the Smoke Buddy MEGA, and not for Smoke Buddy itself. I've gone through my fair share of Smoke Buddies, and I've convinced a lot of other people to hop on the band-wagon too. They're great, in that they get rid of most smell and even smoke! I've tried the Juniors, and I used to buy 1 as a backup with my Regulars until I realized that it too is more or less a waste of money when compared to the Regular sized Smoke Buddy. Until recently, I've mostly purchased 2 Regulars (1 to have and 1 as a backup for when I start getting that push-back on the main squeeze) up until now, wanting to give that Mega a go. TERRIBLE decision. So, as of the last few years, I've gotten my Smoke Buddies mainly on Amazon. The website charges about $19.95 for a Regular and I average about $11.50 each Regular on Amazon/in some stores (although, I do speculate that the ones on Amazon last for less time than the ones on the website/in stores, I have not gone into an official "investigation" on that one..yet, but I may NEED to now). Let's forget the Juniors exist for the rest of this review (or in general, for that matter, unless you really need something that'll fit awkwardly into a clutch).This Mega here costed me about $23. The website has them for $39.95!! I figured, at the rate I'm buying the Regulars, maybe I'd just try the Mega and see if it's worth the money. TRUST ME when I say that IT IS NOT. At this price point, I wanted to seriously test it before buying these "in bulk," and I'm really glad that I did. For the test, I did not vary on my use and was even very careful to have ordered an extra Regular so that nobody could use the Mega (I will sometimes share when the backup is also low but is not normally the case). Dare I say it? I believe I actually got LESS use out of this than with the Regular size. I suppose it's possible that I received a dud, but I'm really not willing to take that loss again to find out. I expected to get just over the use of 2 Regulars, since it costs just over the price of 2, and you're supposed to get somewhat of a deal when buying "in bulk." This was not the case! =/ ------------------------------------------------------------------- TL;DR ::THE MAIN DIFFERENCES:: ( - ) The Smoke Buddy Mega gave me noticeably less use than the Smoke Buddy Regular and left a bad taste in my mouth (and, literally, air). ( - ) The Smoke Buddy Mega physically "leaked" more smoke/scent (compared to Regular SB) with no more added pressure of the release. ( - ) The Smoke Buddy Mega costs disproportionately more than the Regular for a disproportionate use count. The fact that they even "estimate 600 uses" out of this thing is 100% LAUGHABLE. ( - / + ) Bulky (harder to hide) but you're sort of agreeing to that with it being the Mega :P the shape is nice, though, holds like a larger Junior. Both the mouth and hand pieces are nicer fits, but not neither are worth that extra ca$h. ( !+! ) Your Smoke Buddy Smiley Face "flashlight" is larger, making it easier to press his mouth, rendering it usable (unlike 78% of the Regular Sized ones I get that are so hard to push down that I've actually snapped some). TOTALLY worth the extra ca$h!! *sarcasm* Get yourself a Smoke Buddy Regular (or 2) and call it a day. ;) Side Note: I have never actually tried the SB alternative, the "Sploofy," although I have considered it. At first, I thought I'd save plastic since you only need to buy the filter and not a new "system," but (after having the chance to hold one in person) the filter piece is so bulky when attached to the mouth-piece that I hardly believe it saves any plastic, especially when compared against the JR). I may try it in the future if only to say I've honestly compared them.

Works great. Friend put his face up to the end while I blew my flower through and he couldn’t smell anything. Even after 20+ Uses. Personally been using one of the Mega’s way longer and still working great Keep up the good work Smoke Buddy 🤙

As you can see in other reviews on all Smoke Buddy products some smoke buddies tend to work better and longer than others. I suspect and hope it could be based on batch. Maybe good or bad batches could perhaps could be narrowed by color, if the colors are made on different assembly lines. So far, if it helps, the black mega model lasted 10 days. The white mega model lasted about 28 days. No changes in use between the two. And I bought from same supplier both times but not at the same time. !!!!!!!!!!!! Also, could we STOP MAKING KEYCHAIN BUDDIES OR MAKE IT OPTIONAL !!!!!!!!!!!! I bet most people who buy this product regularly dont want even want more than one and thusly throw any additional ones they get in the trash. I got one the first time. Its cute. I dont need a new extra piece of plastic that isn't even useful aside from light decor on my keys every month for the rest of my consumer relation with this company. Its such a waste of plastic. Really, for all of us, make it an option or just stop making them.

It is solid in the fact that no smoke comes out when you blow into it. But don't rely on it too much because there is always gonna be bowl smoke and things like that so make sure you still take the proper precautions so it doesn't smell. But still this thing is really good, even if you take huge rips, still no smoke comes out. Glad I invested in the mega.

Hello I have MS and it sucks and the only thing that helps me is cannabis, now I live in an apartment building where smoking cannabis is grounds for eviction plus the police still hassle me for it so I purchased this item and ever since I haven't had one knock on my door. It eliminates any trace of any smoke and anything that's in the smoke. Gone. must be used with a pipe or similar device because paper products smoke constantly so it can't be contained in the filter if that makes sense.

My new Smoke Buddy arrived and I tested same night! Works really well. I should have purchased this Smoke Buddy years ago! We have a high-end stereo system on our main floor that over time we were beginning to get concerned with residues gathering on the equipment. Not anymore! I turned around and purchased another one for a family member living in a small condo. 5*****

I started to look for ways to reduce the smoke inside my apartment and this was a game-changer. I had a smaller version, which already worked pretty well, but I decided to try out the "Large" version and I am not disappointed. Firstly, it looks better: it's bottle-shaped so it's not weird to use it outdoors. When it comes to reducing the smoke, it reduces almost to zero. The only smell is of the burning cigarette itself. I really recommend it.

I used this smoke buddy my first year living in residence for University. Very smell affective. Used it nightly smoking water-pipes, never noticed it getting clogged until the end of the year. If you do find it gets hard to blow through, nuke it for 10 seconds at a time and blow out the dislodged smoke (BEWARE, the smell will be awful)
