Decent thickness and big enough to easily pick up after my dogs. I only had one bag on me when both dogs decided to poop (45 lbs & 55 lbs). Managed to use it to pick up after both of them and still tie off the top, but I wouldn't try to do that all the time. I think the value is good for the quantity and the price. I also like that the little sticker that keeps the new roll "sealed" is easy to peel off when I swap it out in my bag holder. We've used 3 rolls so far with no rips.
