MM3624WLD Magnetic Travel Map of The World, 39 by 27" , tan

My first order was super delayed so I called Amazon and they sent a replacement but the second one got delayed for one more day that I waited for a total of 2 weeks and when I received it, the frame is not the same and the edge is cut out (see the picture). It is not the same as what is advertised and seen in the picture that would entice you to buy. The countries near the edge is not readable/almost cut out and so you just assume that it must be that country. Furthermore, I was thinking not to send it back because I really do want a magnetic world map but is it worth the money I paid for? Do I settle for this? Nah, I deserve what I was presented and not get fooled just for them to sell the product. We are paying for what it is worth.

I bought this as a gift for my husband to hang in his office since he really likes maps. I wanted to get something of good quality that was a little nicer than just hanging a poster on the wall. This definitely looks very nice and my husband really liked it. I also liked the idea that it had magnetic pins to place on the map for places you've traveled or would like to travel. I thought it was a better idea than sticking in regular pins and ending up with a bunch of holes in the map. The only thing I don't like is that we found out that if you want to place a couple of the magnetic pins close together, the magnets are so strong they'll pull together. So, you almost need to use the pins just to mark countries instead of cities. Sometimes the countries are even too close together. Oh well. It's still a nice map.

Got for my son's 10th bday, had a plaque made to go on the frame to personalize it. He loves geography so perfect gift for him! Only complaint is he's frustrated by the magnets not being able to be placed close enough together. It also comes with so few magnets and to order more seems expensive?? There is only one red magnet and we figured out that it to place where you live. I think a 'pin' version of a map would be messier and mess up the map, but do wish magnets could be closer spaced.

It was not as big as advertised, but I've already sent back the first one because it was so small compared to the advertised size so I'll keep this one since it's a little closer to the actual dimensions stated than the first one I received. I did NOT get any magnets with the map as advertised, so I guess I'll be looking online for some magnets. It otherwise looks ok and is not damaged so we'll hang it up.

Beautiful, love it. But magnets tend to be drawn together if set too close so I can not put a magnet lets say in NJ and NYC without them snapping together on their own. For this reason, if you plan on putting lots of magnets or some that are close together, it would be a good idea to go with a bigger size map. Though this size is perfect, it may eliminate the magnet issue. I ordered small ball magnets go different colors for mine separately.

Really love this map. Was exactly what I wanted for my office. Item arrived not damaged which I was glad b.c other reviewers had issues. I would definitely recommend this product. Only small complaint would be the magnets I got seemed to be mostly two colors and then a few were the other colors but no big deal I will probably end up buying more magnets to use the colors I want.

The first map I received in the mail was in poor condition. I used the return policy through Amazon and had a new one 2 days later and the original broken one picked up by UPS in 2 day. I love that it was so easy to get a good product. We love how it looks and the kids love being able to put markers on places they have been and want to go.

The magnets, when they are close together (i.e. Europe) will either snap together or oppose each other depending on the polarity. If you're interested in documenting your travels in a dense region: a traditional map utilizing pins would be better for you.
