REALLY disappointed!!
I was really looking forward to putting this product to use after receiving it, but boy am I disappointed! If you can't be asked to read my rant. I'll sum this kit up: Save your money and practice on a kitchen sponge.The pad seemed much larger in photos, yet is smaller than my palm, leaving barely any space to practice after cutting a couple of wounds out. It's a cheap unevenly cut sponge with a surface that feels absolutely nothing like skin, zero tension upon entrance and while pulling the thread through. With every bite and gentle knot I perform a rip occurs on the pad, not only that but the tools constantly leave dents as well. An absolutely useless kit, will have to spend even more money on a different one now!

Fab product
I'm a 3rd year medical student and this has been perfect for practicing my suturing skills. The pad is really good quality and better than a lot of the ones I have been using in the skills lab at uni. The instruments all seem to be great quality too. Overall I am really happy with my purchase and would definitely buy again.

Good for a fun time
This is a very good starter kit for learning how to do sutures. I'm not studying medicine and just got this to try because I thought it would be fun but it seems very good. The pad is very skin-like and it comes with a few needles with the "thread" attached. It also came with forceps and other tools like that. Thumbs-up from me.

Great for practice.
The needle holder, forceps and scissors and sutures are of really high quality, similar to those used in hospital, which makes for a very good practicing tool.The model skin is also good for practicing on as you can make cuts according to your preferences. I was only slightly disappointed by the size of it which was smaller than expected. Nonetheless, the package comes with care/handling instructions which if adhered to makes sure you can use the skin model repeatedly.Overall, pleased with the quality of the product and it's cheaper than most of the other options on the market.

Cheap, but works in a pinch
If you are new to suturing and don't have your own tools, then this is an okay starter kit. However, the needle drivers are sticky and the forceps are dull. The skin pad has no way of sticking down to a surface, so I have to use packaging tape to tack it down every time I want to practice. They only send one size/type of suture material and a handful of needles. Its nice to use in a bind but I wish I had just splurged a little more and gotten a nicer kit.

Great kit
Arrived next day. Very happy with the quality of this kit. Skin pad is brilliant in my opinion, have practiced lots of times on same incision and hardly any fraying. The instruments are the same as in my A&E. Overall great product for practice during my fy2 surgical rotation.

Good value for money
Good value for money. The skin is not perfect but it does what you want in practicing handling surgical instruments and a variety of suture types. The suture material is not the best but I've used some of my own for practice. Definitely worth buying if you want to practice suturing , vet/medic/nursing students.Tip: double sided tape to stick the 'skin to a table.

Great for practice!
Very happy with this kit. First off the service was great, package arrived early. Contacted by sellers soon after to check that I was happy and kit includes a special offer!I like that the kit comes with sharps pads to make disposal safe and easy and very detailed instructions to help with the suture practice. I do wish the skin pad was a bit bigger.
