Bamboo Pet Appeteasers Catnip Toy 2 Pack (Assorted Styles & Colors)

My cat loves these toys!! He will chase them all over the house, jump high in the air to fetch them, sneak and pounce on them, and carry them in his mouth to a quiet corner to 'kill'. I have to take them away at night or he will wake us up with his antics. They also seem to last a really long time. He has never broken one, and even after I would think the catnip strength is gone he still loves to play with them.

5 years ago when our cats moved in they brought a set of these toys with them. They have been consistent favorites and were starting to show some age. Ordered a new set and the girls are happy! Something about these toys, maybe the magic stuffing? They have fun!

I have 9 cats, so we need lots of toys in the house. Of course, catnip ones are well loved. The cats go crazy for these, rubbing on them, batting them, some even hide them so noone else can get them. We humans like them too because they are so bright and cute. We've had them for 16 months and they are still in good shape.

These things are great for about a day or so, and but the cat nip smell fades rather quickly.

My cat loves these. However, I make a few adjustments to them. As soon as I receive them, I cut off the plastic attachment piece that holds the toys onto the plastic card instead of pulling the toy off the card. This way I can throw out the plastic attachment instead of having it stick out of the toy and poke my cat in the eye. The second thing that I do is cut off the TOY's ears, feet and white tag. My cat loves these so much that he munches off the ears and feet since they are felt. Again, I don't want him to choke. I usually end of replacing the toy with a fresh one every month. Since my cat is a muncher, he tends to eat a hole in the side of the toy and the stuffing starts coming out. It's at the point that I give him a new one and process starts all over again :)

The cats love these toys. The fabric is a little light; one got a tear in it right away, but the toy held together. I have an old one here from a few years ago and it still holds together, minus one ear!

These toys are the right size for our cat. She fights with them every morning. I think that they appear to be well made and will last as long as any other toy. I do not like the packaging - plastic wire. These should come in a small box or a bag. I try to cut the plastic fastening wire away, but I always worry about the tab left inside the toy becoming dislodged and the cat swallowing it.
