Dose the job need a good stand

No problems with assembly (single-handed, no need for second pair of hands). The handle for cranking the umbrella up and down works smoothly and is much easier to operate than the pulley mechanism on my old umbrella. A minor quibble is that the handle is covered by the umbrella when it’s folded down, so you have to reach under the cloth to locate it, but the rotation is so smooth that this is not a real impediment.

Purchased less then two months ago and initially was pleased apart from discovering there was no control over the angle of the tilt. As it is such a big canopy, when tilted you have to duck under that side and I’m not very tall! However, as you can see the fabric is already beginning to fade and stripes have appeared where umbrella has been closed. I did not expect to have to dismantle and cover after use every time. I anticipate that it will look very shabby after a full summer’s use. The umbrella is not cheap so a disappointing purchase.

This is a great parasol and exactly as described. It is a good size for a medium sized garden. Very easy to assemble and the tilt mechanism works a treat. I used to have a wooden framed parasol which was so heavy and difficult to assemble. This is lightweight and can be moved and dismantled with ease. No problems with it tipping over yet but then it seems sensible to lower it when not in use! The crank handle makes life so much easier. The green colour is lovely and blends with garden. Highly recommended.

Smart parasol, well packed, the pole clips together. It is very lightweight aluminium and I have yet to use it in gusty conditions. I have had heavier parasols lift so I have dropped the rating slightly until it has been in use for a time.The position of the wind up handle is under the folded canopy; you might find this awkward.

The parasol was bought to replace our 18 year old one which had eventually given up. The new one is much lighter but the fabric seems good quality and we are very happy with it.

Love it. Only small problem I have is that I should have bought a much heavier support because putting the shade on tilt (if there is any breeze) means the umbrella falls over. Solution - don't put it on tilt!! Or buy a much heavier base. Otherwise Very good product.

Poles very thin for the price expected better quality. I went out and brought another parasol better quality larger for same price
