It is freestanding and doesn't attach to your machine in any way, so it should work for any machine. Solves sooo many problems, because the thread flows freely from the spool.

Q: Does this stand work for the janome mb-4 and mb-7?

I had the MB4 for about 6 years, and I would not buy one to use with any multi needle machine. With the MB4, MB7, the very first guide for the thread has a certain amount of tension, then the next guide has its tension. I did buy one of these stands to use with my single needle MC9900 and 500E and it is great.

Q: Will this fit on a Brother Luminaire?

If the Brother Luminaire sits on a flat sewing table the Embroidex will sit behind the Luminaire on the same table top. If the Luminaire sits down in a recessed sewing machine tabletop the Embroidex can still sit behind the Luminaire. They are two separate items that sit separately but work together.

Q: The peg that holds 20 spool. I got one that is deform is there a way of getting one

I purchased one but mine is alright. I'm not sure if you can. You might try writing the manufacturer and see if they can help you. sorry I can't help you more.
