Very useful!
I had one of these before, but not this brand. This OXO brand is perfect. Very easy to use-my husband even started using it and he is picky about things like this. I highly recommend..it really helps clean your salad greens, etc. Very well made -works quickly and is easy to clean. It is sturdy plastic so it should last a good while.

Sturdy, Reliable, and a Salad Game-Changer – Love This Spinner!
After my old salad spinner started feeling like it would fall apart every time I pushed the handle, I upgraded to the OXO Good Grips Salad Spinner (6.22-quart), and wow—what a difference! This thing is a beast, built to last, and has made prepping fresh salads and herbs an absolute joy. If you’re tired of flimsy spinners or soggy greens, this is the one to get. What I Love: Rock-Solid Build: From the sturdy basket to the crystal-clear bowl to the smooth pump button, everything feels premium and durable. Unlike my old spinner, which wobbled and creaked with every push, this one stays steady thanks to the non-slip base and spins like a dream with just a few presses. The brake button is a game-changer for stopping instantly—no more flying lettuce! Perfect for Any Job: The large capacity easily handles enough greens for a family of four or a week’s worth of meal prep. I’ve used it for everything from delicate arugula to hearty kale to rinsing berries, and it delivers crisp, dry results every time. The basket doubles as a colander, and the bowl is great for serving or storing. Comfortable and Easy: The soft, non-slip pump knob is so comfortable to use—one-handed operation is no joke. It feels like OXO thought of everything to make this intuitive and hassle-free. Minor Quibble: Lid Cleaning Takes Care: The lid’s design traps a bit of water in one section, which is a little tricky to dry fully. I’m not sure if it could lead to bacteria over time, so I let it air dry on the counter for a day or two just to be safe. The rest of the spinner (basket, bowl, and main lid parts) is a breeze to clean and dishwasher-safe, so this is a small inconvenience. Final Verdict: The OXO Good Grips Salad Spinner is a massive upgrade from my old, rickety model. Its sturdy construction, thoughtful features like the brake and non-slip base, and ability to churn out perfectly dry greens make it a kitchen MVP. If you want crisp salads and herbs with minimal effort, this spinner is a must-have. I’m thrilled with it and can’t imagine going back!

THE BEST SALAD SPINNER WE'VE EVER HAD
This salad spinner works great, cleans easily, and looks good, too. It's easy to "pump" the button to spin the lettuce, and it also has a nice "lock" for lowering the spin button for "low height" cabinets. The lettuce dries immediately, and the bowl is attractive and big enough to actually use at the dining table (with our previous one, we only used it to spin the lettuce, & the bowl then went in the sink to be washed). No, this bowl is a nice bowl for the dinner table. We're very happy with this spinner. Glad we found it.

Easy to use; gets the job done; easy clean up
First time user of a salad spinner, and think I'll be eating more salads! Previously I gave up on rinsing my romaine, as invariably I'd end up with soggy lettuce, even after letting the washed product sit in a colander for an extended period. Seeing as how I know that not washing produce prior to consumption is not recommended, I invested in a salad spinner. This spinner is a breeze (and fun!) to use, and found that it removes enough of the water that the end product is crisp lettuce. Clean up is easy (I exclusively hand wash items like this). The large bowl is a nice feature, though lost on me, as I will not store, nor serve, my salad in/from plastic (I've been transitioning to glass for food storage). It's larger than what I need (single guy that makes one salad at a time - equivalent to a "standard" salad serving for two), but it actually ended up costing LESS than the smaller version, and it fits well enough in my cabinet, so the larger-than-necessary size is a non-issue.

Very nice but smaller inside, for enough salad to spin, than I thought.
I really like how sturdy this Good Grips Salad Spinner is. The spinner works great. The materials are a nice quality. The only downside is that the spinner mechanism is on the top so (when you put it on) it takes up room inside the small salad spinner basket. So therefore there is less space for spinning salad in the bowl. I would have bought a larger size if I had known.

Bought this for drying hand washed undies (didn't work)...
(EDIT: my experiment with spinning clothing didn't work, too slow, too much effort, but this remains a high quality product) I purchased this 3qt spinner for drying my hand washed wool socks and underwear. Wool underwear is tough in certain ways and is an investment, but must be hand washed for longevity and can not be wrung out while wet, and so spinning them dry gently is important. The easiest way to manage this hand washing is to not build up a load, but to wash each set of underwear/t-shirt/socks daily while showering, and leaving them to dry while changing into a fresh set. This spinner is the perfect size and the basket feels plenty strong enough/well enough built to handle spinning damp, light weight clothing (one item at a time), and almost over-built for spinning lettuce. It should last a long time if not dropped, though I've had mixed experience with polycarbonate surviving even a short fall. This 3qt model is nicely small for storage, yet ample enough to use for hand washing and draining a full days set of underwear/t-shirt/socks then spinning them dry one item (2socks) at a time. For ladies considering this for hand washing bras you may need to consider the 6qt model depending on cup size, in part due to the intrusion of the pump mechanism into the basket space.

Using this salad spinner allows you to “turn around turn around till you make a stop.”
This item is by far the best salad spinner. The centrifugal force generated while pressing on the plunger, allows the user to relax and let the spinner do the work. The plunger can be pressed flat against the lid allowing it to be locked in place. This allows easy storage. There is a button on the lid that acts as a brake to stop the spinner as needed.
