Works great, looks wonderful and gives total privacy.
I have a front door with nine small rectangles of glass that looks out at my neighbor's kitchen window and also his carport where he and his friends often sit. Not to mention anyone who might come up to the door and my house has an open floor plan so looking in you see all of my living and dining room and most of my kitchen. I wanted privacy so I went to the local Home Depot and checked the window film they had which were supposed to be privacy films. Well they had some examples up on demo windows and none of them gave much 'privacy' and cost much more than this did. Also this film is thicker and more easy to manage.I bought three rolls of this for just a little more than the price of one of theirs and this works great. I took only half an hour to do my front door and that was mostly measuring and then cutting. It was very easy to put on without help and no mess with not having to use solution and a squeegee. Also if it got slightly messed up I was able to remove, straighten the film and replace it on the window without a problem.Once done I waited until nightfall and turned all the lights on in the three rooms and stood just outside the door. It works great, total privacy. You can see very vague shadows but nothing else. I did have a thermal backed curtain over the window but now I have been able to remove it and get plenty of light in by day and no worries at night about people seeing into my house. I've put this film on the lower part of my bedroom windows that look out on the street in front of my house so that I can leave the blinds up and still get light in as my bedroom windows are low and easy to see in. Love this film.Okay it is months later and the film is holding up great against the southwest Florida summer heat and humidity. I'm buying more for out in my lanai.

Just the right thing
We have "faux" leaded-glass sidelights in our condo, and started to feel that the center sections were too clear, and our front door is in plain view of our living room, that our privacy was compromised a little too much. The surrounding areas had a traditional mottled quality, and we didn't want to add an entirely new style, so we tried this complementary design that is related, but a little bit smaller and refracts the light in a slightly brighter way. It was so much easier to install than I expected, and the material was just flexible enough to accommodate the slight bevel around each section (I assumed I'd have to remove slivers of material to deal with the bevels). In the side-by-side image you can see the change from clear to obscure and the way the pattern catches the light. Even if the adhesive gives out in a few years, it was so easy to put up I'd be happy to use up the remainder of the roll on upkeep.

Window film
Performed as advertised. Delivered promptly. Was not as easy to install as I assumed. While it's true that you can reposition it during installation; the process of pulling it off, stretches the material somewhat. So the less repositioning the better. It looks nice and blocks anyone from seeing in while letting the light through.

Perfect Solution To Glass Front Door
I have a front door with a pretty window in the center which brings in lots of natural light. However, when someone was close enough to the door, they could see all the way thru my house especially at night. I didn't want to replace my front door since I liked it, so this film was my logical solution. I only put up the film on half of the window at first so I could make sure that I liked it. Well I LOVED IT! Light was still allowed in, but it distorted the view enough to not be able to see in. My only issue was now I couldn't see who was at the door since I don't have a peep hole. So I cut a small diamond out at the top (which is hardly noticeable) so I could see out. Easy to install and I cut it with a razor blade around the window frame. I also loved that it looked like that was how the window was made.UPDATE: It has been 3 years since I put this up and still looks great, with no issues. My front door takes the heat of the day sun. Would still recommend this window film!

Perfect window film for windows/bathroom.
Really nice window film and looks exactly as i had hoped.I looking for some inexpensive window film I could put on my bedroom window. Wanted to let light in but not let everyone see into my bedroom. Based on some of the reviews here, I picked this up and happy I did. Actually ordered a couple more rolls since it wasn't quite enough to finish my windows but no biggie. As you can see in the pic, this film lets light in without being able to see in/out. Application is easy however just make sure you measure/cut the film properly. What you can't see in the pic is the horrid mosaic patchwork I had to do in order to use up the whole roll and cover the window (hence why I ordered more).Really like this as it's inexpensive and does the job.

Go with the static cling; adhesives like this are so difficult to do well!
This is very extremely to apply. No wonder the static cling products are so much more expensive. Neither dimension is wide enough to cover the height or width of a typical window so you MUST have overlapping sheets and that is like brain surgery. I did a good job (required a friend's help) applying the overlap (only leaves a small line between sheets) applying but still have tons of bubbles that show up at night.Light pass-through is good and obscurity is excellent. If someone put their face right against the window, they couldn't see 4 inches into the room.Good luck with the bubbles! This product is guaranteed to cause severe frustration to any person whom is not okay with a half-assed look.

It stopped my yappy little dog from driving me nuts!
I bought this film to put on the windows that go along side my front door. Our little yappy dog drives us crazy barking at every single thing that walks/blows by, and after we installed this film the barking has stopped. This film is very easy to install and it is forgiving so if you need to, you can pull it off, reposition it and try again. We have had the film on for a couple of months and it is not going anywhere. It stays on, but peels of easily. If your dog is driving you nuts, put up this window covering and get some peace! It works! It still lets light in, but your dog won't be able to see out. As an added bonus, people no longer look in our windows when they come to the door.
