Works well
I have low vision, and this helps on many mugs that are difficult for me to tell when I am approaching the top when pouring coffee. Only ding was that if I spill on it, I have to remove the battery and wait for it to dry before using it again.

Do not buy this level indicator! It's junk!
If I could give this level indicator less than one star, I would. It only works half the time which renders it useless. If I'm pouring boiling water for tea or hot coffee from the pot, I need to be able to depend on the level indicator to work. Do not buy this! There are other options that work more reliably. Save your money.
