I purchased this to replace an old speed jump rope that I had in which the handles were dying.Overall, I think this is a great jump rope and much better than the one that I am replacing.Pros:- the handles are awesome!!! They are comfortable and work so well when jumping. Also adjusting the rope is super easy- it is very light weight- very durable as the rope is a braided metal covered with some plastic- comes with 2 ropes!!- comes with a carrying case and a very nice box- if you store it curled up, it does not stay curled up or twisted. My last rope I could never get it to straighten out it liked to twist and be in a loop.- online instruction videos for placing rope in handles, sizing, etc are very goodCons:- they need to put a note in the box stating that instructions on sizing and how to put rope in handles can be found online. The piece of paper in the box gives their website and states for a jump rope challenge go to the site but doesn't say that the directions are there. Not a big deal as I went there to find them and they were there but it would have been more reassuring to know I should go there first- I'm 5'7" and I watched the video on how to properly size the rope and when I went to size it, the rope hit the end the handles and it was still a little bit long. Since the rope is metal, you cannot push it in further to get it shorter, so I had to cut the rope with wire cutters. I don't know what long term affect this will have on the rope as I worry that it will slowly become unbraided but I could not jump with it too long as I was getting tripped up.- It is a light weight rope which can be a good thing or a bad thing. To people new to jump roping it is a little bit harder to jump with a light weight rope. Don't give up, you will get better and this rope is totally worth the effort.Overall, I think the pros far outweigh the cons as the cons really are not a big issue but they are my honest review of the product. I think you will definitely like this product!

Easiest rope to adjust I've ever had. Smooth, fast action, just right. And as an unnecessary but appreciated bonus, it looks great too. Comes with a spare cable (and even a storage bag) so I don't know how you could get better than this. Period. (Note: it's not a playground rope for use out in the asphalt parking lot, it's a speed rope for use on hard, smooth surfaces like gym floors, home floors, finished floors.)

This is the most I have spent on a jump rope and I have to admit, I do not really like this jump rope. The handles are a good weight but the wire is really thin and light. It is hard to tell how fast or hard you are moving it. I do like the handle grip but do like the handles to be thicker. I am overall satisfied with the handles and holding it while jump roping. Putting the rope together and adjusting the length of the cord is really easy. Jump roping itself is ok. As I mention I do not like the cord it is too thin or light weight. It throws of my timing and I find the cord getting caught on my foot even when I am clearing the rope. I had a hard time doing cross overs or double ups. The rope does stay in the handle for me so far. I have had the rope for 3 days so I can not comment on the durability of the rope. Unless things change I would not buy this rope again.

This review is long over due since I made my purchase of this item, wasn't disappointed!My honest opinion of this jump rope that makes it stand out compared to others is how light weight and durable it is. It's nice that the cable "rope" itself can be changed with black or red. The base handles are very durable in weight but enough to feel light while exercising. Oh and as a bonus if you're interested it comes with a box if you wish to keep and carrying bag for your items. As mentioned the free workout session it comes with is a definite bonus!!Trust me, you won't be disappointed with your purchase and will look bad a$$ with a custom jump rope lol Family company making these bad boys so lets give'em support! 🙌🏽👏🏽

This jump rope is better suited for indoor use because the wire itself is actually made of wire and is then wrapped in plastic. I used mines outdoor on rough concrete which caused a portion of the plastic to break, the exposed wire broke and became severed causing mini spikes. If you decide to use it outdoors still, I recommend placing a giant mat beneath your feet to protect the rope from breaking like mines. Despite the simple locking system, it bends the rope over time affecting the shape of it. Wire is very hard to straighten out overtime, you must store it the way it came packaged or it will constantly get tangled.Positives:- easy to adjust length quickly- simple locking system- comes with 2 different color ropesNegatives:- not durable for outdoor use on rough surfaces- rope is made of twisted wire and then wrapped with plastic- rope can easily come undone once exposed- limited flexibility- wire doesn’t stay straight once it gets bent

I'm a pretty avid jumper and double under whiz. While this rope is nice and good quality, it's not ideal for HIIT, long bouts of DUs, and Crossfit. The handles are not practical from a sport perspective. They're heavy so eventually they will fatigue your arms much faster than a lighter rope. The rope itself is lovely and initially I liked the clamp system in place to hold the ropes in the handles, but even that is at a cost. The rope begins to bend where the handles hold and will not straighten out. Not a big deal but does start to mess with the cadence of your jump as the rope is at odds with itself and inertia. This also throws off the calibration. All in all, good rope for beginners, but not my go to rope for avid and intermediate.

Perfect for double unders, super easy to adjust without the rope coming unattached during skipping, only issue is the handles are a slippery.

Im a boxer and I need a solid rope, I checked through amazon and most ropes all had issues or bad reviews, even though this one was expensive I trusted it.Handles are sturdy and heavy, not cheap. The rotation is smooth and the rope is high quality. The package is magnetic and comes with an extra rope. You get what you pay for really. I’m glad I purchased this one.Also, the length of the rope isnt mentioned and that worried me as I am 6’4. I have to say it’s pretty much at the end on each side, maybe 1/3 inch more can be pulled.If you are over 6’6 I don’t recommend.

The rope was very good but 6" too short

I liked how smooth this rope was when I first bought it. It worked well and helped me improve my double-unders. However, now, 3 months into owning this rope the rope falls out of the handle easily. If I ever trip over the rope, the rope breaks. This makes it very frustrating to use. My suggestion is to pay a little bit extra to buy a rope that will last.

Honestly not worth for the money. I never wrote reviews I was really excited for this rope. But it’s been less than 3 weeks and one of them ripped already. And you can wire home Home Depot for $1 a foot. I’m honestly really annoyed and I wouldn’t recommend this.
