TimexExpedition Resin Combo Classic Analog Green/Black/Brown T45181

I have been purchasing and wearing this watch and the only equivalent I could find, the Casio Forester, for many years--so long that I can't remember when I bought the first one.This watch has a nice look for informal wear and the analog time is easy to read at a glance. It is a good size and appears to have been intended as a unisex style. It has all the features I want: both digital and analog time (Arabic numbers for the analog), both can be read as 12- or 24-hour time, two time zones (I don't use that feature much, but it can be handy), an alarm that is loud enough to hear if you put it on a table but not piercing, an Indiglo light, luminous hands, a second hand, and day/date. It also has a few features that I've never used, such as the countdown timer.I have never been swimming with this watch, but it is certainly water resistant in situations such as heavy rain. Knocks and falls don't stop it, but the crystal does get scratched over time. They no longer include instructions, so you have to go to the website or use the old guide if you thought to keep it. Another reviewer said that the strap is short, and that is true. My most serious problem has been with battery changes. It seems that some jewelers don't take these watches seriously--it's not a dive watch or a Rolex--and after the battery change, the digital portion doesn't work normally.The watch descriiption says the strap is nylon; it is definitely not leather, so it's vegan-friendly. Overall, it's a great basic watch.

Bought his watch to replace the exact same watch I had broken. I love the fact that there are analog and digital readouts and that the digital readouts of time, date, and alarm are large enough for me to read. I've had a watch like this for years and found it dependable and accurate.

I’ve been looking at dual digital/analog watches for some time. This Timex model fit what I wanted and was reasonably priced. The analog clock hands are easy to read and you can choose to have the digital screen display the date or the time. The Timex Backlight works very well when activated and allowed easy viewing of the watch hands and digital display. For my wrist, it is a very light weight watch and the leather wristband is comfortable. The digital display has most of the standard features like a stopwatch, alarm and 12/24 hour mode. Unlike a Casio you do not get an instruction manual, however if you are familiar with a typical Timex/Casio digital watch it is simple to figure out. What looks like a large instruction sheet just lists the website to visit for additional info and that this is not a dive watch but is waterproof then repeats that info in a dozen languages. The packaging is also extremely flimsy compared to even the cheapest Casio products. I suppose this is how Timex keeps costs down. So far, for the price I’m very satisfied with this watch.

I wanted a watch that I can wear outdoors (hiking and such), that was rugged enough to take the heat, but not bulky and “manly” looking like MOST expedition type watches. I tried other watches, but none of them were what I was looking for. Either too bulky or too manly. Then I found this watch. It was EXACTLY what I had been looking for! Small enough that it looks nice on a woman’s arm, but rugged enough to wear in the outdoors. VERY happy with this purchase. Highly recommend!

The analog and the digital don’t match up I cannot get the day/date to roll over at midnight it always happens at noonNo instructions come with the watch and online instructions are incomplete

I really like this watch. This is my second watch only because I lost the first one to an over aggressive handler. I wear the watch at night to tell time. Big revelation there! I wear glasses and I can't see an alarm clock from my bed without putting my glasses on. This watch has the Indiglo feature so it’s easy to light the watch up at night. The Indiglo is not bright enough to tip off lurking law enforcement that may be in the area when I am at my transportation job. The bezel moves so I can track how much time goes by for events that I choose not to use an alarm on my phone. Not a good idea to have a loud beeping sound while you are hunkered down between tumbleweeds in the AZ dessert. You can hear that shit for miles. The band is easily washable, and I don't worry about wearing the watch in muddy conditions like hauling packages through the river for one of the Mexican cartels. Its light and small so if you need to set the alarm and put it in your partners pocket without him knowing, its perfect. That way you can have your partner attract any K9 dogs while you run in the other direction. Overall I rate this five kilos!

Granted this isn’t a high end watch but I do expect all functions to work. While you can set the time on the analog portion of the watch when trying to set the digital portion it skips over the minute setting. No matter how you manipulate the buttons you can’t get minutes to flash in order to change them. Goes straight from hours to date. No actual instructions included. Shipper gets one star as well. Very flimsy timex box just put in an envelope with no padding. Box was partially smashed. This one is being returned. Unfortunate as I like the indiglo but not certain if Timex can be trusted as a name brand anymore.

デジアナ必須条件でした。医療従事者のため秒針が必要不可欠。バンドが布製であるので衛生管理が難点。できればデジタルはガラス板の外側にあったらいいとデザイン設計者にお願いしたい（笑）

WEB上ではでかくてゴツい感じのミリタリーテイストですが、買ってみるとなんとボーイズサイズ！小さくて迫力が無く、デジタル文字は小さくて視認性わるし。秒針は細すぎ、しかもポインターが無いので殆ど見えない。無いのと同じ。ベゼルは両方回転で節度が無く緩いため、常にズレている状態。ちょっとガッカリ。

デザイン、値段に引かれて購入しました。アナログ、デジタルの両時計表示がありますが、内部的には時計が２つある構造となっている為、時刻設定はそれぞれ別個に行う必要があります。これは非常にめんどくさい。また左列のボタンがガードされていないため、意図せずに押してしまうことが多々あります。そのせいで、デジタル表示部が知らないうちに違うモードに切り替わっていることがよくある。以上からデザインが気に入れば買っても良いが機能性については日本の時計の足下にも及ばないと評価します。
