Sterling Silver Wire 26 Gauge (.016") Round Half Hard (10 Feet)

This sterling silver wire is beautiful. We used it to wrap semi precious stones & repair a clasp on a pendant. It worked well, the wire bends easily and is super durable. Twenty gauge was a really good size to repair a pendant, although I would recommend a thinner size wire (22 gauge) for smaller, finer wraps. I will buy some other sizes of silver wire from this company again.

Beautiful! A super weight to make headpins and works really well for wire wrapping. This gauge fits well through most beads and because it is half hard, it retains shape. This wire shines up beautifully. I will definitely order this again - and I will get it from uGems. Packaged in a nice cardboard envelope so the wire arrives safely. This was available at an amazing price - and I'm still shocked at how quickly it arrived!Every silver tarnishes (due to air and light) - wash it with soap and a little soap, drying it with a clean, soft cloth. That should help. You can also buy little strips that will prevent tarnish - and they are only a couple of dollars for ten.

I'm extremely pleased with this wire. I make rosaries regularly and have tried wire from many vendors and have always felt that Sterling Silver wire is typically too soft to count on for longevity. I've repaired rosaries I had previously made for my nieces and nephews too many times to count. I eventually disassembled and rebuilt one rosary altogether with another wire that was not sterling silver specifically for better stability. I don't know how the wire will look over time but I hope the appearance retains it's luster.The price is higher than I would usually pay but if the the quality ultimately is better then the difference is justified. I wish it were sold in 8 ft increments so I had enough to make a single rosary with one order.

This company can be trusted to provide exactly what you order. I was very leary buying my Sterling Silver, Argentium Silver & Fine Silver Wire From Amazon. It’s a trust thing & I’d purchased supplies from one craft co. since I began teaching myself to wire wrap. I finally decided to look elsewhere,hoping to find better prices. I’ve purchased several items from various company’s on Amazon and specifically Raw Treasures. They deliver every time. Quick shopping, REALLY good prices & quality product. I highly recommend them. Beautiful and easy to work with wire! Note that it is half hard, not dead soft, so it may be a little harder to work with if you've only bought 22 gauge dead soft wire before! This coil makes a good amount of findings - I've made a couple jump rings and earring hooks from it, saves me money from having to go out and buy them individually! Make sure you have a cup bur if you're looking to make your own findings too - sharp jagged wires are no fun to put in anyone's ear. The coil looks small, but it really is 5 feet when measured out (I doubted at first as well). Will be buying more once I run out!

I used this wire to make a braided wire-wrapped labradorite pendant for my wife. I found the stone at the pond where we married 9 years ago. I simply widened the braided wire to fit over the points on the stone to help lock it in place. I was so happy with the way it turned out, and was so anxious to give it to her! Thanks!

I found a few pair of cute earrings online recently and thought I'd try my hand at making a few pair. This is just the right wire and just enough for me to experiment with. It's a nice quality, bendable but pliable at the same time. I figure I can get 10 plus pair out of this amount of wire rather than just one for the same price. The wire comes in a small ziplock bag which is perfect for storing it as well. Time to get crafty!
