Only lasts 10 months.
The starter only lasted 10 months. It was only used around 5 times. So disappointing. Buy cheap, get cheap.

Replacement starter for my John Deere 140
I purchased this as a replacement part for the 140 John Deere I bought new. Didn't want to pay what the local JD shop wanted. Got it promptly and it bolted on easily. Would buy this starter from this buyer again.

fit and worked perfectly
This product fit and worked perfectly. The only unfortunate thing is how many parts on the John Deere Tractor seem to fail. I won't buy another of these tractors but will keep fixing this one for awhile.
