I own a bar and purchased this product in order to consolidate all of our various media boxes (DISH, Spectrum, AppleTV, etc.) in one location.Opened the box on arrival, pulled the unit out and mounted it in a standard 19” rack located at the end of the bar.Ran HDMI cables to the two back bar TV’s, plugged in three media boxes and powered it all up.It was that simple. Plug the TV’s into the outputs, using either HDMI or Cat6. Plug media sources into the inputs with HDMI and turn it on.There are a number of options for networking, etc., but we didn’t need to use any of them.There are two rows of buttons on the front panel. Press the tv output button (1 - 8) you want to change, then press the input button (1 - 8) you want to send to it. Voila!All TV’s can use the same input so that you are sending the same signal to all of them.This totally eliminates the inevitable out of sync views different TV’s display, where one room is cheering a great football play and the other room is still on the edge of their seat!We are going to test this on the two back bar TV’s for another week or so while I run Cat6 cable to the rest of the TV’s.Have only had this on for two days, so durability is an unknown, but the cabinet and the buttons seem to be of very high quality.Totally sold on this brand! It will totally eliminate bartenders having to run around changing TV’s, looking for remotes, etc.! Can hardly wait to get Al of the TV’s hooked up!!

I'm very pleased with this switcher, all components were there including an IR sender and receiver for every input/output. EDID settings are excellent. Online webpage is pretty cool - better yet I can just send it HTTP get requests and change the in/out configuration from my existing home automation system.Being used with two NVidia shields, two Vizio TVs, two Dell wide screen monitors, a Samsung monitor, and two Gaming PCs - now anybody can finally be happy anywhere in the house, or simply watch what someone else is watching.I should have bought this years ago but was skeptical of similar/competing products and the whole HDMI over CAT5/6 thing - the HDBaseT technology is finally reliable and I'd feel good about implementing this for other households.Note the unit is a 1U device, and mounting ears for a rack were included, but I didn't use them. It also has two tiny fans that vent out the right side, it's not loud, but obviously you want to mount it so you're not blocking those or the intake vents on the left side. My unit came with Device ver 1.25 and Web ver 11.1 - as of this posting there doesn't seem to be any newer firmware on the manufacture site, but that's OK, it's working great!

I purchased the HDaseT 8x8 matrix switch over cat 6. I have a game room with 5 TV's that I wanted all TV's set up on the same picture/video input so I ran one of the HDBT receivers to a network switch and out to the 5 TV's. The rest of the outputs go to a patio 4k projector and 4k TV at the fire place as well as several TV's throughtout the house. All receiving 4k signals that look great.

Fantastic product and the best ever customer support I’ve ever seen! Now I can view all my devices in my AV closet on any TV in the house. Set up was incredibly simple after I mapped the home’s CAT 6 cable runs which had been incorrectly labeled by the installer. A couple text messages and phone calls to Alex with No Hassle AV and I was off and running. I can’t say enough good things about Alex and No Hassle AV!

Got this unit for my home as I was redesigning my AV setup. This matrix plugged right and was easy to setup and get going. Everything was packaged nicely with everything you need to get up and running. Have this paired with Harmony hub remotes and it works really well. As I was getting this installed I was able to communicate with the tech support team and they even answered some of my questions on the weekend. I highly recommend this product and the team that supports it.

Crestron control over IP, works great. Excellent online support. Very happy with the performance.
