Great rod no hook/leader keeper attachment though.
They are great for trolling. Low price, nice looking and sturdy enough that I’ve pulled in a couple musky with them this Fall. Just wish they had a place to clip my leader to when done for the day. Have to clip my leader onto one of the rod guides which I don’t like doing.

Great quality for the money
I have been using these down rigger trolling rods for many years.Great quality for the money! Nice not to have to worry if I goon it and break it.

Right price but don’t expect Shimano quality
Cheap components but appropriate pricing... probably I just expected a little more from a Shimano rod. First rod I received got damaged during shipping and it got replaced. Packaging isn’t as good as other competitors for rod shipping

When 2 pieces connected tightly, felt so great, I might be able to use it for all ocean fishing, will try it out next trip and update

good but does need a bigger eye closest to reel... these are stiffer than expected so if your looking for a med get a med light.

Great Rod!
Great rod. I own 4 of the 9ft medium and use them as downrigger rods for salmon fishing. They are nice and responsive yet tough and cheap enough that you don't need to worry about them.
