We now have 3 students in the house and the old desktop computer is being used a lot. I've lost the battle trying to keep snacks and drinks out of the computer room. Outnumbered in a vote really, so this was the next step. I kept this keyboard after an upgrade on the desktop because I like the feedback and feel this keyboard has when typing and I'm picky about that. This cover doesn't interfere with how the keys feel when pressed, which I was worried about. It has a nice feel to it when typing. This will also keep the letters from wearing off as quickly on the most used keys (which we have already replaced) it is nice and thin and simply lays over the keys. This is cheaper than buying cleaning products and replacing keys that have worn off letters, and I wish I had gone with this to begin with.

Finally I can clean my keyboard without the hassle of moving it out of place. I can see the letters on the keyboard with no problem.

This cover fits perfectly -- and that's the only good thing about it. It apparently off-gasses in some way because, after a couple of weeks in place, it left a sticky, gooey film on all the key caps. Not just on the tops -- on the sides, as well. The result was that all the keys started attracting dust and dirt, even under the cover. Ultimately, I had to disassemble the keyboard so I could clean the key caps with a toothbrush and dishwashing detergent. Buying this cover was possibly the worst decision I ever made in almost 40 years of using computers.

Works as described. I personally cut mine into section because the 'stretch' causes the cover to not entirely cover the each key in the perfect square, they would pop up a little bit. I cut at the divider between "backspace" and the "insert" key- in that free section. A second cut to seperate the numeric pad and the "page down" and "arrows". It works much better and the keys are more form fitted to the silicon. It still keeps all the crumbs and dust off the keys. I didn't cut off the excess, just separate into three sections. I like it better this way. Also the typing "feel" and way you type will change a little bit because there will be a little bit more "oomph" to press the keys because the cover causes a slight delay (barely noticable) in the key going up/down when pressed.

I was skeptical in buying this, but needed a protective cover from dust etc.. As you can see it's a perfect fit. . Weighs nothing and folds nicely.

Does exactly what I need it to. Easy to clean, just shale it off, or wipe down with a damp cloth. Happy with it.
