I absolutely love this curl custard from Aunt Jackie's. I have very long, thick curly hair that gets frizzy at times. I use this custard along with a curl mousse for curl definition and control. It also smells so good! A little goes a long way! This product defines, softens, adds shine and tames frizz. It weighs my hair down a bit (in a good way) to control my curls more. Well, 23,000 other Amazon buyers weren't wrong! This is a great curl product. It left my hair curly, NOT frizzy, and not crusty like mousse makes it. The smell is nice and not overpowering. And sheesh, there is no beating the price on this. It's a big container! Very impressed with the value and the results.

My husband uses this cream every day and I believe it has a very nice smell! However, it does have a very thick texture that can be difficult to work in some times. There have been times I have had to help spot check my husband's hair to make sure it is totally blended in.I do not think this product is as moisturizing as products my husband has used in the past. His curls come out more "crisp" instead of soft. Because of this it has great hold, but the effect on his hair is that it is definitely noticeable that he has product in his curls. It performs well for most of the day, though his curls will become "frizzy" again if it is humid enough. I have not seen flaking in his hair.

I have used this a couple of times, I did notice the smell, wasnt so bad that I could not wear it but it was def noticable. I didnt like however how frizzy I feel like it made my hair look when it dried.

I have thick, course, wavy/curly hair that is naturally golden blonde. Most of the time, curly products are so heavy that I feel have to choose between my natural hair color and my curl pattern. So I'll get beautiful curls, but my hair color will darken from all the products. My hair seemed to be getting to used to the products I was using so I went on the hunt and found this. Once I learned how my hair liked it applied, it worked BEAUTIFULLY! It's the only product I need! Just wash and condition like normal, then rake and scrunch through while it's soaking wet, and dry and fluff. And I stay golden blonde! AND have my big beautiful curls and waves! My toddler even pointed at my hair and said "yellow hair!" I wanted to party!

First of all, I never leave reviews for anything. If I like it I buy it again. I was searching for a new product for my Caucasian fine type 3A to 3B hair. I thought it may be too heavy for my hair, but nope! I can't believe how good this product is on my hair. I wash, condition and then apply this my damp hair and comb through. I then scrunch and air dry. My hair does not dry crunchy. I do not have to use any other products at all, just this. It make my curls look freaking fantastic and it is soft. I also have volume! I have not had volume for ages. I don't want to go to bed at night because my hair still looks soooo good! I recommended this to my daughter who has the same curl type, only all one length. She used it one day and texted me 'this hair stuff is like "magic". Yep, Magic. My co-worker was amazed at how good my hair looked and she, being a curly girls also, ordered some right then and there. Aunt Jackie, if I could give this product 100 stars, I would!
