Seriously, guys, the smell is not that bad.
I ended up bringing in a foster litter (mom and kittens) who were, unbeknownst to me, heavily infected with ring worm. Because the kittens were so young, the oral meds simply were not safe for the babies, and I was unwilling to take the risk of liver damage for the babies. I settled on a combination of lime dips, antifungal shampoo, antifungal spray, and a regimine of cleaning and sanitizing of their bedding and areas.Nearly every review complains about the smell, some to the point that they refuse to use the product! I was anticipating something that smelled like some mixture of death, diapers, rotten food, and dirty socks! However, maybe because I expected the worst, I was actually pleasantly suprised! The smell is not nearly as bad as I expected: kind of similar to the home permanents my mom used to use in the 70s and 80s. And, trust me, those home perms smelled worse, and you had to sit there with them dripping all down your head and neck for a LONG time.Of course, My kids were coughing, complaining, and headed for the hills as soon as I started bathing the cats, but I was more tolerant of the smell. Honestly, I've smelled many worse things in my days as a parent. This dip does not even reach top ten status. The dip is very highly colored when mixed, but does not stain their coat very noticably. My cats have white fur in areas, and they were hardly colored at all, and the scent totally evaporated after about 24 hours. I didn't use gloves, and my hands were mildly unspleasant smelling for about 48 hours, and my skin was not dry or damaged at all.No one uses this stuff withhout a good reason. But, don't be turned off by the description of the smell: the remedy is safe, easy, and works better than far other less effective and more hazardous alternatives. This DOES cure ringworm very quickly, and stops the spread of the spores almost immediately. Personally, I think that is worth putting up with the smell (which isn't even that bad).PS Using one of those household masks intended for paint fumes actually does work if you find the smell repellant and cannot stand it at all.

Used on my rabbit for mites.
My outdoor rabbit got a bad case of mites this year and due to Covid the vets in my area are charging double just for an appointment fee. So I asked around and got this as a solution. I would not recommend bathing your rabbit if you have never bathed it before -- it can be extremely stressful for bunnies to be in water. I have had my bunny since she was a baby and introduced her to water early on and was still extremely cautious about getting her fur wet with this stuff. It worked great though! After one bath with it she was itching way less than before. Smelled terrible, but the smell on her coat only lingered for that day and was not strong. I would really recommend this stuff for any pet if you want a quick fix, and especially if you are using it along with another meds for mites. I used this in a bath and then put Revolution on the next day and my bunny is a happy camper mite-free!

Works like a charm. great for cats and dogs! even ones as big as a pony?
we love animals. unfortunately maybe a little to much. my wife had found a kitten and did not know it was infested with ring worm.unknowingly she exposed our mastiff pekingese and maltese. this stuff works great. make sure you follow the directions. do not use it full strength.also i have a few good tips for you. make sure you do it out side it smells. make sure you wet your animal soaking wet first or it will just bead right off. then depending on size of animal you can either dip them in a 5 gal bucket or get a rag and dip the rag in the bucket and apply it with a rag. watch out for their eyes and yours! best to use some safety glasses because if they shake and fling water it will sting your eyes. flush their eyes with water if they get it in their eyes. its stings but they will be okay.you can conserve it if you do not need to mix a whole gallon. you can mix 1 oz for 2 cups or 2 oz for 4 cups. we treated the kitten several times i think 6 times it was really infested. we only treated the dogs 2 times. and the problem was solved. we used it once a week. also ring worm is contagious to humans. if you start getting round spots after you know your pet has it you better get lotrimin for you. here is a pic of my happy girl twinky the english mastiff. shes a big softy and was a trooper with the treatment. i always give her a treat for being a good girl. lastly its better to have to much than to little. you can always put the extra bottle back in the cabinet for emergency so you have it. its better to treat as soon as you see it. its much easier to treat if its a few spots and not a full blown major problem.
