Adequate but could be better
Works. Not much choice with Yaseu. Overpriced. With frequent use, question longevity. Earpiece is large but does stay in ear but no wrap around.

Perfect for the FT1DR
Works like a charm with my YAESU FT1DR HT. Great audio, small form factor. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a way to communicate without bothering others or for monitoring what goes on privately.

The actual earpiece is large...fine for most men but not so fine for ladies.

Your hands are free to do other things
Makes carry and use of a handheld much more easily done. You can hear and speak with a convenient PTT button on the cord. No false sends, when you cough of talk to someone else, like with VOX.

No warranty
Stopped working after 80 days. Seller refused to replace it. You can see there is no damage. I paid a premium price for a defective product. If you buy this for forty dollars expecting it to be of premium quality I warn you there is no warranty.
