Convenient, easy to use for protecting trees from deer and other creatures.

Mesh is very high quality and durable for meeting the needs and elements in harsh weather and I expect to be able to reuse these over and over for my trees.

I just put these around five young trees in the backyard. The zip ties worked ok. The mesh needs to be wrapped around several times to fit a 2" diameter trunk. The mesh needs to be anchored into the ground by something. A windy wintry storm would spin these around and rub the bark. I made some wire U-shaped anchors and pushed them into the ground on three sides of each mesh to hold them still against the wind. We shall see how this idea holds up over the winter. I do like this product better than the plastic drain piping. The mesh allows air flow around the trunk and will be easier to remove when the time comes.

My tree trunk got a little torn up from the deer rubbing antlers. The nursery should tell customers that these are a must. Hopefully my tree won’t die. These in conjunction with a fence are doing the trick.

As a space saving measure, it came rolled along the short side instead of the long side. There was an explanatory note inside about that.When you roll it out and put weights on each end it stays nice and flat, easy to work with.Plenty of zip ties are included to make installation easy.The deer have left my trees alone since installing this guard.

Not worth the money. Way too flimsy. Need 6-8 zip ties per guard to keep it upright. I used 3 guards and threw the other 2 in the trash. I have purchased stronger plastic mesh guards for more money. Thought I’d save a few bucks…wrong.

I like the ease in which they are applied to the trees. I hate how over priced they are for small strips of rigid plastic construction barriers. The deer have left the tree alone since I started using.
