Save your money
Very unimpressive. I thought this was recipes about making cheese but it's just weird and only one recipe that uses kefir and mallow root and that is not classic cheese making. I was expecting something a bit more professional. Frankly, he could have written the recipe on the back of an envelope and saved the paper. I bought this for a cheese lover but am too embarrassed to give it to them so it's off to the op shop

A revival of ancient knowledge for making cheese at home.
Give this little book 5+ stars! This book shows how the average home cheese makers of the past created and stored cheeses without stainless steel pans, commercial starters and yards and yards of cheesecloth. If you are looking for independence from grocery store prices or are fortunate enough to have a dairy source - cow, goat or sheep - buy this book immediately! The author had an eye-opening revelation that started hours of experimentation resulting in cheese recipes that everyone can complete. With this book purchase the author, Caleb Warnock, includes FREE bonus packets for a SASE to the address included within. If you thought cheese making was beyond your skill level, just ask, "How did the average ancient household manage to make their own cheese?", and this little book will offer insight into this long forgotten art.

Not worth the money
Do not buy this book. It is nothing more than a pamphlet for the money. VERY disappointed.

Don't buy this if you want to learn how to make cheese.
If you are at all interested in actually trying your hand at cheese making DO NOT buy this. It's written by an off-the-grid-type who goes on for 26 1/4 sized pages about the benefits of DIY cheese only to share a recipe that makes cheese out of kefir and mallow root. A slap in the face to hardworking and talented cheese artisans. I'd give this negative starts if I could and frankly I'm just angry.
