j/fit Medicine Ball MAX

The weight is off center so the ball spins all wrong when thrown. This is a useless piece of garbage

I decided to give this ball a chance because I do small group workouts and outdoor bootcamps. I chose this one over the more well-known brand Dynamax because the price was half as cheap. My 12lb ball is already ripping in various places, the seams are coming apart, and sometimes the "filling" inside of the ball feels very soft almost like a tempurpedic mattress. I really want to keep using the ball but I am afraid it will burst if I use it anymore... I have only used it a total of 4 times before noticing it was falling apart. Comparing it to a Dynamax ball: The J/Fit ball is much more "squishy" and does not keep shape very well. Definitely not as durable. Who knows maybe I got a bad ball?

We run a Boot Camp circuit-style class and these med balls get a lot of use. We use them in many different ways- including throwing them against the wall and slamming them on the floor. We also have a Dynamax medicine ball that was much more expensive, but it can take a lot of abuse compared to the J/Fit brand. Our J/Fit med balls have started splitting at the seams and we've only had them a few months. If you don't abuse them too much I think they'll work great, but you get what you pay for.

I've had the 10, 15, 20, and 30 pound Balls for about a month now, and I can't say enough about them. I've been doing crossfit for a couple of years and have used dynamax balls until this point. The new material of the jfit balls is perfect and is identical the the dynamax, also the balance of the weight and the ability for these balls to stay perfectly round is very impressive...keep in mind I let these balls hit the ground from a height of 10feet when I do wall balls. When I first ordered the jfit balls the 15 & 30 pound balls came in the old material that has been getting the bulk of the negative reviews, when I called jfit customer service they had me email a picture of those 2 balls and told me that they were the old material, with that said they had an email confirmation to me within 5mins that the 2 new balls were already processed to be shipped free of charge and would be at my door in a weeks time. I am looking forward to get these to my door in the next couple days, and I'm getting ready to order 3 of their slam balls next. If you are in the market for a medicine ball to use for wall balls/shots...don't waste your money on dynamax, these are every bit as good AND EVEN BETTER then dynamax, and the customer service makes the choice a no brainier.

I was foolish enough to believe that although this ball is half the price of its competitors, it would be just as durable. That is definitely NOT the case. After using this ball for strictly wall ball and sit up throws into a wall, it busted within 5 weeks. I got the ball replaced and the replacement broke in 2 months! Finally I gave up and took my business elsewhere.

The item was good to use but just under 60 days i saw a rip about 1 inch long in the threading. Now i only used this item on a smooth surface, so my question is why the thread all of a sudden ripped. I can't return the item because it is over 30 days but for the amount i paid for it and a prime member there should be an extended return policy. i like the medicine ball, but now its trash within 60 days. This item should be cheaper if the threading is going to rip that quick.

So far so good. Bought it for home use, mostly wallball shots.

I was a little hesitant to order this medicine ball because the price of the 20 lb was almost too good to be true. I had great luck with the jfit doorway gym bar so I ordered this medicine ball for my home gym from the same company. I was looking for a soft medicine ball that was larger in circumference than a regular bouncing medicine ball, but did not want a small dead ball. I have been looking for quite some time but the prices were way too high for my budget. When this ball from jfit became available, I was excited but a little reluctant. Thankfully I have been using it for about a week now and I love the feel, the texture of the material is not slick and easy to grab. The size of the ball is perfect for wall ball toss and explosive moves. I was a little overzealous on the weight and it was a bit heavy for a few of the exercises I was doing (med ball breakaways) but I am very impressed with the quality of the ball so will be ordering a 15 lb.
