Purchased for Art Studio
This trap system is working out great in my studio (I do ceramics). I read the reviews and some people complained about leaks, but I haven't had any issues at all. Changing the tubs is easy and painless and it does what it needs to do! We did have a professional plumber install it (he was installing a sink and faucet as well), but it seems like it would be easy to install yourself.

A great replaceable-trap system that was easy to install and works very effectively at trapping heaving, non-soluble items in wastewater.

Works and easy to install but poor mounting
It does seem to separate out sediment as intended. I like that it is easy to maintain and empty. Only problem is the unit is held up only by the compression fitting, and cantilevered at that. It's pretty heavy with that jug of water on the bottom, and the fitting couldn't hold it up no matter how much I tightened it. I ended up adding a strap to the drain spigot on the other side to help support it.

First unit to ever leak out of the box
I had to return it. It leaked from an area that is sealed by the manufacturer. I’ve had three of these installed in different studios/classrooms and never had a leak in the component that is sealed from the factory before. Had to return it. But will be purchasing again, hopefully this next one won’t leak!

für mich nicht zu gebrauchen habe mir nun selbst einen schlammfang gebaut

Bien mais dommage qu'il n'y ait pas plusieurs tailles de tuyaux car le Gleco trap est aux normes Us et il faut donc bidouiller pour l'adapter aux tuyaux européens (Gleco 37mm et chez moi c'est 32 -40 ou 50) et donc cela m'a pris beaucoup de temps pour trouver des astuces pour le raccorder à mon système. Au final, j'aurais pris moins de temps pour fabriquer un bac de décantation moi même.
