JET 69101 Powr-Flo Mass Air Sensor

Installed on a 05 chevy silverado 1500 5.3. Easy install I got the matching throttle body. Increase my MPG by 2 in city. Great throttle response. No check engine light. But also have long tube headers and cold air intake full cat back exhaust. Alot of reviews saying check engine light comes on. But mine did not. Quality on mass air flow sensor is great built right. Well worth the money. I will update in a couple mouths

Installed in 03 Avalanche 5.3, headers,Flowmaster,cold air intake. No computer tune. For the first 30 days truck ran perfectly, noticed huge difference in overall power and performance. Actually was able to do a burnout for the first time. Then put out of the blue started throwing codes one after another, replaced everything according to the code that popped up. (Way too much unnecessary money spent because of MAF sensor upgrade) Finally found the Jet MAF sensor was the main start of the problems. Researched deeper and found Jet MAF sensor can not be used with open air filter, only sealed box or just much less air intake. What is the point of having cold air intake if you can’t have maximum air flow. Original sales description does not state that flaw anywhere because obviously they only want your $307 plus $$$$. Also found weak point from bottom (diode) to be detached from unit. It might have been like that upon opening of the Box and installing but didn’t bother to inspect that closely only because back in the day when we used to street race (cop didn’t see me,I didn’t do it) some of used Jet products and they were awesome! Unfortunately now it’s just garbage. Pointless to try to return due to be way past 30 day return. Went back to stock MAF sensor with open cold air intake and everything now works fine. Need to change their name from Jet to Junk! Waste of well over $2000-$2500 of unnecessary money spent because of a pos MAF sensor. Do your research before buying their product.

Absolutely performs as advertised. 2006 6.0 escalade w/216000 miles. The mid band, power band is very noticeable and upon hard acceleration pulls firm. Fuel mileage upto 19.6 hwy average. Up from 14.7.

Tried on a 2008 Chevy Trailblazer 5.3l V8. Initially it worked, but it was slow to return to idle and down shifting when you would stop was slower. I would have to apply much more brake than I was with the stock part. Milage was about the same, and throttle response was no different than the stock part. Sent back to Amazon for full refund. I did call Jet about the part and left four messages, but no response from them.

I bought this with the matching throttle body, throttle body spacer, 180° thermostat, power control module, and i have a k&n cold air intake, headers, and flowmaster exhaust. I havent installed the chip or the thermostat yet and the truck runs a lot smoother but I cant tell a big difference in power. Hopefully the stage 2 chip pumps up the horsepower significantly.

Used one in my 1999 Silverado without any problems that had an AIr Aid cold air intake & thought it made an improvement so I put one in the 2006 Silverado I traded for that has a K&N intake. Engine light kept coming on & almost got stranded. Called JET who told me that it will not work with K&N cuz it lets in too much air...thought that was the whole idea. Would have been useful information before buying one. Call JET first.

Jet Products use to be good quality and and performance dependable. Over the years something happened.Products is terrible and customer service is WORST. Save the headache and GO Granatelli!

Amazon and Jeg's could or would not warranty a new MAF sensor, so I sent it to Jet directly and received a new one within a week. Do not rely on Amazon's 30-day return policy or that Jeg's will refund your money for a defective part. Amazon wants your money but will ensure that third-party sellers warranty their items.

Started throwing an error code after a couple months and idle went weird and stopped the vehicle. Called JET tech support and got suggestions but didn't help. Wish I could return or exchange it but its been more than 30 days, dang!
