I have been reading about a disturbing trend, counterfeit sd cards. (if you really know your real product you should be able to spot a bad one, many of the companies rely on their reputation so please give them a chance to help you. After all they may have been duped) You can go to different sites that have a comparison of different cards and their nemesis. Many say that if you don't get the main brand you could get a virus. But what are we to do, we want to keep a memory of our trips, school functions for our kids, or business affairs. I can only tell you what I know about this little micro sd card. It is a high quality, high capacity card. For example: went on a two week trip 747 photos and 18 1min videos later and wasn't even 1/2 full. The card functioned as it should have, the phographer on the other hand. For those that don't understand what all the number and letters on the sd card mean I'll try to help sort it out. I know someone who is a bit more technologically sauve than me may refine the descriptions.Lexar=the brand that you have purchased. The number below the brand, in this case 633x=should indicate the cards fastest read speed.Next move to the 10 in the circle=this is your write speed, in this case 10mb/s (10 mega bites a second) This gives you full HD video recording and consecutive HD recording of stills.32GB=the amount of memory it can hold. It is concidered one of the larger end so estimates are about 8,000 songs, again it's what you put on it, but you shouldn't run out of memory.Micro sd hc=It is a micro sized so you will need an adapter to load it into your computer to add songs, videos etc. HC=High capacity. The total name of sdhc=Secure digital high capacity.3 in the u=a minimum write performance of 30 mb/s lets you record HD video resolution while having the ability to do other functions. Finally the 1=the grade of performance.Hopefully this will help you in choosing the right sd card for the functions you need and the capacity you want. Oh and you can lock the card by sliding the little button into lock, so everything is safe.A good little card!

WOW...I'm actually using my GoPro3 now! No more Migraines!
Wow, to sum it up again...Wow! Impressed, why...because after nearly drop kicking my GoPro Hero 3 Black version camera to the wilds of the hinterlands I am FINALLY using the camera...after over 1 YEAR of nightmares!Thankfully I bought into the Hero 2 initially and it's been rock stable with whatever Micro SD you throw at it, this Hero 3 NEEDS this card!Unfortunately for me I suffered through purchasing 2 different 64 gig cards before realizing the truth is true in that you need a card that is now on the approved GoPro list of cards.I've been capturing video as I type now with these settings, 4k, 30frames, Protune ON and both with the wifi and battery backpack plugged in...well BLISS.Unbelievable.Before, the second I plugged in the battery backpack my camera would freeze...pull the battery try again and sometimes ok it would work but always never more than a setting of 1080P. While it did work though I could never use the wifi controller as that would NEVER allow me to stop the recording. What happened is the camera would freeze ON and record till I either pulled the battery or the battery died.Oh my horse sense, this camera is actually working mint now! I love that I can plug the battery back pack, plug in a 10,000mah external battery backup into the backpack of all places (just even thinking this in the past would throw my camera in a tailspin), and record at 1080p 60 frames till the card fills up! Mesohappy!Really though, I finally just today have actually used my Hero3 after buying it over a year ago...wow...so I'm good to not upgrade to the Hero+ and that's a good thing! If anyone is experiencing even one glitch with their Hero3 or 3+ and your running a lesser card then end the tragedy...buy the card already.
