Beautiful pair of earrings! Super sparkly. I was surprised; I figured I might have trouble with the rose gold finish, but I wore them for 4 days straight, night and day, and not a hint of redness or itching on my earlobes. The stones are quite large, but not too large for wearing to work. The only problem is that the stones are heavy and the backs aren't heavy enough, so that they slide forward and the stones face down instead of forward. They don't do it instantly, though, so you can just push them back when you visit the ladies room and they stay put quite a while.

I have to start by saying that the Amazon photo does not do justice to the stunning stones in these earrings. When I first opened the box, I was taken aback by how luxurious (and authentic) they look. The pear cut is absolutely gorgeous and they're extremely bright and sparkly. And of course, rose gold is really on trend right now, even though when you're wearing them, not much of the actual metal is visible. Another plus for me is the lever back style which is my personal favorite - not only easy to insert but it's also a throwback to the old-school Italian earrings I love so much. I really wanted to give these a higher rating, but once I put them on, the earrings tilted down and the stones were difficult to see properly. If there was a way to anchor them so they didn't fall forward these would probably rate a perfect score. Nice stones, beautiful rose gold plating, but poorly designed.
