It is great. The sound is what I wanted
I was surprised how much sound I got out of this small bell. Ding, ding! Perfect bell--loud! Very well made and easy to install on a standard size handlebar and it looks nice and unobtrusive.

Doesn't fit handlebars - buyer beware - no returns allowed!
I bought this product based on good reviews. After receiving the product, I tested it on my bike's handlebars. It doesn't fit. Not even close. I also tested it on two other bikes and wouldn't fit either of them. Looking at the ring for fastening to your handlebars it is barely one inch. I doubt this would fit on most kids bikes. For clarification, I have standard road bike handlebars. Not sure how others could post positive reviews as I doubt it could fit their bikes if they have standard handlebars. Buyer beware, it likely will not fit your bike and you CANNOT RETURN the product.

Loud!
Surprisingly loud.I would wish for additional mounting options as it seems designed to be only on the left side handlebar. So I mounted mine updide sown for use by my right thumb while riding. Good news: The bell works even updide sown!Bell makes a sound on both the stroke and release.

Does Not Fit My Bike's Handle Bar.
Bell did not fit my handle bar, it's very small in diameter, about an inch, with very little adjustment. Vendor eventually gave me a refund.

I love everything about this bike bell
We bought this after the $16 bell we bought at Walmart fell apart after a couple of months. This is a great little bike bell! It's smaller than the bike bell I had before, but it makes a nice big sound for its size. Super easy to install. Installed in under 10 seconds.I would recommend this bicycle Bell for any bicycle and anyone looking for a bell for their bicycle.

Small & Loud
I bought this as part of a bike accessory package to give to my Nephew. It's small & loud and it's awesome for under 6 bucks! The sound of the ring is pleasant - like brrrriiiinggg brrrriiinggg. It's loud enough to let others know where the sound came from. We had fun passing it around and ringing it on Christmas morning. It's smaller than it looks and it mounts for right or left hand on the handle bars. I would buy it again for sure.

Universal: Works in every language!
I got this to help avoid collisions on my favorite rail trail bike path. Bikes share the path with pedestrians. But the usual polite “on your left” doesn’t work when people are chatting in groups. Many people are not native speakers and don’t react quickly to oral commands in a another language. And some, who are used to driving on the opposite side turn the wrong way. This bell cuts through all that. It works in every language, warning people of all ages, from all countries to be alert to a passing bike. It can be heard from a block away, and so most people have time to prepare when the bike passes. The pedestrians usually appreciate the warning. One drawback is that many walkers and cyclists wear headphones (!) on the path making it a challenge even for this bell. And the bell has a high pitch which seems less effective when passing older people. But ringing multiple times, I’ve gotten the attention of even people wearing full noise canceling headphones. There is not much leeway in the diameter of mounting hardware, so measure carefully before ordering. (Even thin cloth handlebar tape could interfere.) The location of the finger pull seems fixed and this also limits options for mounting. The bell operates easily, works well and is clearly audible. As to appearance, the quality of the finish is what you might expect from a $5 product. Serviceable but not bike jewelry. It’s small enough though, that if mounted strategically it can be partially hidden by the bars or cabling if that’s important to you.Well worth the price!

Ding Ding Ding...... and Ding
Nice small size and adequate for most situations when away from noisy traffic. Be aware, it dings not rings.....and it dings just once when you push the button. It is NOT the RrrringRrriiing type of dinging ringing bike bell. A single ding (or as many as you like based on how many times you push the button) is a good feature in my book because sometimes just one Ding a Ling is all you need. I only wish this could teach people on shared paths exactly what "On Your Left" means. Ugh!
