Globe Men's Sabre Skate Shoe

I’ve bought these Globe Sabre’s for myself since they came out - like 13 years ago - so I’ve owned many pairs and really like them. This was the first pair I bought for my son and the nitrocel on one burst after just a couple of months of use - normal use no skating. I’m really disappointed but will try one more pair for him. I’ve never had my nitrocel burst and I’m 230lbs - hoping I just got a bad pair but this was my experience.

I’ve been wearing globe shoes for many years so when I saw these I knew they would be on my feet. Ordered my usual size but these fit really tight to the point it hurt my feet. After about 15 or 20 wear sessions the air in Nitrocell started to leak every step creating an annoying sound. Not wearing these again. May give globe another try later but trying other brands for now.

These fit great. Snug and cushioned. The lace pattern and top hidden pocket work great for skate style lacing. But the didn't last any longer than $45 DC's. The nitro filled bubbles on the bottom failed after a long day at a car show. To be fair, I was on my feet for 12 hours straight. But it's 2020 and I paid twice as much as my regular choices assuming I would get a really nice shoe and for what I've experienced now off and on wearing them for 10 monthes, these would be a great shoe... for $55-$65.. and I see they've gone up 10 dollars to 95. Definitely not worth that much at all.

Love the fit of the Globe shoes, especially the styles that have the tongue attached making it no need to tie laces. I liked the color and style of these and purchased them to replace my years old pair.I've had them for about a month now and the heel portion by the Nitrocel tube near the sole of the shoe is beginning to separate. I do not do any skateboarding, hiking, running, etc in these shoes. They simply handle my day to day walking at an office during my IT work, so it's not like they experience any abuse. I'm very disappointed with this as the shoes will likely begin to deteriorate within the year at this rate.I would recommend looking at a different style if this appears to be a common fault in the shoe, otherwise, If my pair just happens to be a one off pair, then proceed with picking these beautiful & comfy shoes.

I dont know why i keep buying these, the bubble will always break and then it making a clicking noise when you walk then lets water in, etc. I typically cut the whole clear part out after a while to make it stop clicking. I love the shoe for work its super comfy but also protective in my field of work yet its quite annoying that they always bust within the first month for me.

I am extremely not happy right now. the nitrocell on right shoe has already popped! literally purchased these shoes a week ago, wore them exactly TWO times, today while i was walking in parking lot I noticed right shoe squeaking noise. there was no way I thought, as I checked the rear of my right shoe. sure enough the nitrocell ruptured!! I still have an older pair of these from 5 years ago, ALL nitrocells intact! I would like a refund or replacement

Shoes have a horrible defect, they compleatly missed a sewing station on one of the shoes causing the sole to fall off. They didnt even last 30 days.I have tried contacting globe to see the manufacturers defect warranty but i get no response. I guess i will have to switch brands after 7 years of globe. the picture will show the left shoe that has stitching and the right shoe that is missing the stitches.This was not a discounted item, i payed full price for thiese shoes.

Love these shoes. The first pair I bought I put on for the very first time and walked several miles and my feet felt great after. No break in time needed. I have a wide foot and my feet are a little scared up from wearing combat boots for 6 years in the military. The wildness and extra padding is perfect for me. Heve tried a couple other of the globes and they don't fit the same.

What is it with these name-brand shoe companies? - It's like they never make enough size 10-10.5, ad if you do maage to find any, they cost a tremendous amount of money.. like seriously??Anyways... When I saw these I bought a few pairs. The first pair cost me $144 (not too impressed with that)The second pair cost me $133. And the third pair were cancelled by amazon... Im guessing a lack of stock. in size.. as usual. So I ended up with only two pairs in the end, lol.Good shoes though. Real comfy. the shoes tongue is actually attached to the shoe itself.. I wish I could take a picture to show you what I mean, Ive never seen anything like it before- Really cool. Ad I like the Beatle/snake design.Normally Ive bought size 10 shoes In the past however, Ive been noticing all skate shoes recently have been running small, so Ive been going with a half size larger. Fits well.

Globe shoes are the best!(Edit) I just discovered that the bottom of my right Globe shoes heel "nitrocel" was cracked.My Globe shoes were making a sound every step I took and I eventually found the problem.WARNING when buying from this seller check your shoes before the return policy.Wish I found oit sooner.

Mai più,, il primo mese sembrava tutto apposto, poi mentre camminavo mi è esploso la parte dietro del nitro gel,, è dopo una settimana si è spaccata pure l'altra.. Sconsiglio questo articolo..Spero di ricevere una risposta da parte del venditore.. Perché io ho speso soldi per queste scarpe,, e nn solo ho dovuto aspettare quasi 2 mesi che arrivassero,, ma si sono pure spaccata dopo un mese..

My husband will only wear this shoe. They're getting harder to find and although the price was good, these seemed to wear out quicker than the ones he's had before (he's probably had about 10 pairs).

Absolutely love these shoes!! My last pair of globes lasted me about 6 years of severe abuse, hoping these will too. Very happy with these shoes so far
