Ortz Gamecube USB Controller Adapter for Wii U & PC - 4 Ports - Perfect for Super smash Bros - - Windows & Wii U Compatible - Works on Dolphin Emulator

Works great but not perfectly. So my sole purpose for this product is for using gc controllers with dolphin emulator on my pc. This adaptor has both a pc and a wii u mode. The pc mode is plug and play, everything works however there is no way to use the controller vibration. The wii u mode works if you install the driver(google it) for the Nintendo brand wii u adaptor. I successfully installed the driver and it worked except some of the buttons were mapped to the wrong places and with the wii u mode there's no way to remap them, however the controller vibration worked. It would be nice if ortz made a driver for their adaptor so I wouldn't have to compromise between excellent controls and vibration. I want the best of both worlds lol. Other than that slight annoyance this thing is damn near perfect and I would definitely recommend it as an alternative to the over priced Nintendo brand adaptor.

I bought this in conjunction with the Nintento Super SmashBros Classic GameCube contoller for my son. After hooking this up to his WiiU and connecting the GameCube controller, the purple Z shoulder button on the right side of the controller did not work. We mistakenly thought that the controller was defective and returned it, only to find that a second newly purchased controller also had the same failure. We took both items to a friend's house who had purchased the same controller and the Nintendo-specific GameCube adapter. After mixing and matching experiments, the issue was clearly diagnosed as a problem with the Ortz adapter.

I had the same problem as another fellow reviewer of this product. "R button becomes Z button, and Z button doesn't work! Absolutely worthless for Smash Bros. 4." However, it only did that with the brand new white smash controllers I bought. I plugged in the old GameCube original controllers and it works fine with those. But not the new smash Asian ones. When we plug the white controllers to another adaptor with a different brand, they work fine. So it's this specific adaptor the one causing the problems.

I was looking at what adapter to buy and I was going to get the Nintendo one but th so I could play smash 4 reviews looked kinda off( complaints and such). I was debating to get this one because the reviews seemed to good to be true. I said skrew it and got it. I couldn't be happier. It actually arrived 7 hours earlier with my white Smash GameCube controller . No lag, No controller mess ups or glitches. Just want you want , A quality adapter.

Z and R button are stuck on PC. Completely useless for Smash Bros

Well recieved this yesturday morning and used it for four hours on dolphin emulator on my pc and it was easy plug and play. I have two origibal gamecube controllers and one offbrand and they all just worked I will uldate if something is goes wrong

Z and R buttons are stuck making games like SMASH and Mario cart completely unplayable. In Mario Kart you're constantly grinding, and in smash you're constantly shielding. Not worth the money, just buy an official adapter.

This controller does not work with Windows 7.. I am more than capable after working in IT, building PC's, installing, break fix items to get something to work and this will not.
