LCD Screen Hinge Hinges for Dell Latitude E5530 5530 AM0M1000100 AM0M1000200 L/R

It was nice to find replacement screen hinges for this Dell laptop. The machine has a lot of life left in it and the hinges made it fully functional. I was delighted to find them.

I went back and forth about ordering these because of the one review saying it wasn’t the exact size and if I would replace both hinges, it probably wouldn’t work at all.Guess what?!! They worked perfectly!!! Thank goodness!!! They may be slightly smaller hinges, but when you replace both (why wouldn’t you?), they seem to work great. Granted, I just did it, so I guess they could always fail, but they seem to be a perfect fit.The process is a little tedious, but very doable, to replace them yourself. I spent about $10 compared to who knows what, if you’d take it somewhere to get fixed by a ‘professional’. 😳 I’m cheap. If I can fix it myself, I’m all about it. And you can find almost anything on the internet these days, how to fix something.Feeling proud of myself. Glad to have my laptop back in working order again. 😊

Excellent fit and function! Saved my laptop from the dumpster. Other reviews say they are not the same size as original but I have a feeling they didn't realize the originals have a plastic "beauty" cap that you can slid off and slipped on to the replacement hinges. Looks perfectly OEM to me after installation ;).

Only replace rt hinge. size was smaller, but seems to work for 1 hinge replacement. See pictures. Also length was 0.102" shorter that OEM part.It is working for me, but probably would not work if both hinges had to be changed. I would have returned it if I didn't have the computer apart and needed to get it finished. It works, but not the best repair.

Hinges were easy to replace and fit good.
