Great remote
Ive had Verizon cable since 2017 and the remote is at least that old. My buttons stopped working and it took forever just to change channels. I had to use the tv remote for volume but everything else was on the cable remote. Ordered this remote and it even included batteries. Followed the programming instructions on back of remote! And voila! Everything works again!

Excellent, affordable replacement for Verizon FIOS remotes
This was a godsend! When our FIOS remotes became wonky and we had to keep pressing buttons over and over again to make them work (even with fresh batteries), this was an excellent replacement. Very affordable, easy to set up, and work perfectly.

Direct Replacement for Original Fios Remote
This is an exact replacement for the remote I got from Verizon nine years ago. It didn't come with a User's Manual, so I had to use Google to figure out how to program it to work with my Sony TV. But it's nice to have a clicker where all the buttons work again.

a/v button unusable
Serious problem with this remote, so read up. The remote works fine......... except the a/v button (the one on the very bottom left). It is supposed to change from live tv mode to whatever you have set up for HDMI 1 ,HDMI 2, etc. It DOES NOT do that. Instead, the a/v button mutes the tv, and the "mute" button does not seem to do anything at all. This is not workable for us because we have our Roku set for HDMI 2. Without a working a/v button, we can't access our Roku box.

It Works on Fios One and Mini Settop boxes!!
I just ordered #3 of this Fios P265v5 remote, not because the previous ones didn't work, but THIS REMOTE WORKS with the new Fios One and Mini set top boxes!!! AND we like the old model remotes because it takes one button to do the function(s) that the new Fios remotes take 2-3 steps!!?? Ridiculous Verizon! Simple to pair with tvs (we have Samsungs and LG) and the Fios One and Mini. Just google "how to pair Fios p265v5 remote...." to Fios One or Fios One Mini, then how to pair to your tv brand. Thanks for having this rc!
