bird feeder stand
really nice looking in the yard ... 2 seed feeders, 2 suet hangars, 1 water tray & 1 nice empty tray for bread or anything else (like Cheerio's) now that's a big hit ... grease the pole with Vaseline to keep the squirrels from climbing, plus it's funny watching 'em try

Easy to put together. The birds love it.
I put this together myself! I can rarely say that, as I am assembly-challenged. It's great to be able to have so many feeders close together; that keeps the deck neater and the birds don't mind at all. We placed on our deck, in a half barrel planter. It should look nice in the spring when we can plant in the base and run some vines up the pole. The first site was a smaller planter and the raccoons managed to get it somewhat sideways the first night. We called it "the leaning tower of birdseed". This was our error. Putting it into the larger planter fixed this, but it would help if the stakes were a wee bit longer. I thought the price was excellent for this functionality and quality.

Quite Tall and Superior to Smaller Shepherds Hooks
Despite lower stars in some areas, this is far superior to the regular shepherds hooks I own. The plus...height and ability to hang plants in addition to feeders. No bending of metal so far. Areas needing improvement: it sways in the wind. Even with 4 prongs it is not steady in anything more than a light breeze. We live near a pond so I don't use the water feeding bowl for water, I put orange halves in for the Orioles and Finches but the placement is not optional. Once it is together, it is what it is. The small seed basket is not removable for cleaning or emptying all the cracked sunflower seed empties. Really a negative! It needs an insert or to have the metal basket sitting on a ring for easy removal and cleaning. Regarding installation, I did struggle a bit getting it together. I am 5 ft 4 inches and getting it upright and standing on it to install, beating on it with a rubber mallet, neither one got the prongs totally into the ground. The dirt was wet due to rain, so, not the reason. Just hard to install. Even my 200 lb+ husband could not get the prongs evenly flush in the ground. I will be searching for an insert for better bird seed functionality. Otherwise, I wojld likely buy it again. It is really the best we have found so far.

A bit tricky to balance.
Really like the bird feeding station. I hung 4 different bird feeders on it and was able to balance it nicely. I had to purchase a squirrel guard to keep the pesky critters at bay. They were all over it as I awoke the following morning. I have only seen a pair of cardinals interested in, so far. Today, after 3 days of rain, the seeds had sprouted, molded, and had to be totally discarded. I think the best thing for me to do is....... wait till cooler weather and hope for a better outcome. I am very pleased with the aesthetics, although the bath and the other round drainable container are not very useful and another few hooks would have been a better option. It could have been a bit thicker, or heavier, but for the price, I cannot complain.

Perfect Station to Attract Birds
Originally I’d hoped to hang some of my potted flowers on this pole. But it made it terribly unsteady. So I hung them on Shepard’s hooks instead. Overall I love my bird pole, and so the birds. I ended up having to modify it slightly, as the dish for water wasn’t really big enough for the birds. I use it for more birdseed instead. And of course I had to buy an additional “squirrel cone” to keep those nasty little buggers away. I’ve also hung 2 more smaller bird feeders on each of the top hooks. So now the large birds can eat off the 2 plates and the smaller birds have their own feeders too. I’ve got it right outside my window so I can watch the birds all day.

Not as secure as I thought, Not recommended, needs removable mesh tray!
This is a weak system.. very hard to get it to stand up nice and straight. It needs longer bottom prongs and maybe four of them not just three, for added stability, not sure why they are made this way. Makes not sense...I like the hooks there eye pleasing but way to low, wish they didn't dip down so low, as I am fighting with four squirrels in my yard and they are determined. I think they get on top of each others shoulders and hoist themselves up and the dips in the hooks, makes it easier for them! LOL But in all seriousness the hooks don't need to dip down so much, it takes away from the height of the pole that I was looking for! So this pole that is suppose to be tall becomes really short fast. So take that into account, and I suggest go for one with out such big dips in it.. I also don't like how the screen food bowl that comes with this, doesn't come out! I can't clean it easily and dump food out of it, so its a pain scooping out with bare hands! Who knows what the birds left, they do poop! And forget about trying to remove that seed mesh bowl, because its a project once your get this up the only way to remove is to take the top off and everything before it that is on the pole if its not the first thing you have added. The food tray should be like the water bowl and it should pop out for easy cleaning, just stupid if you ask me...So before you buy, because you are going to want to return this, but not after you got it up and damaged it and smacked it into the ground..But if you cant find anything better then this, then I guess this is the pole for you. Me I'm stuck with it for this season or two to see how long it stays up and lasts. Update 2/19/20 still not happy with this pole it needs 4 prongs and not big dips in the hook arms!..4/2/21, Still not happy with this pole, its still hanging on, I have it propped at base with two bricks and have to constantly bend it back because it goes sideways a lot.. I big base to these poles would solve this problem, we just need someone to invent. Looking for a designer who can give me what I want with out costing a fortune. Need Tall pole at least 7 feet above ground, detachable mesh tray for tray feeding and sturdy 4 prong big base. Legs should extend away from Middle pole and then the prongs go into the ground as I think it would secure them better. What a great idea! Off to Looking for an upgrade this year ..not looking forward to it.

New pole design is too wobbly
I purchased one of these bird feeder poles a couple of years ago and loved it. We needed a second pole, so I purchased the same model again. However, the new pole is in three pieces and makes the entire pole and feeders to become wobbly. The company needs to go back to their full-length poles or only have two sections.
